Well done Pele Bummer about the sit-stay though - she was obviously exhausted through lack of food - how long had it been since her last piece of roast chicken - 5 minutes - or - shock horror - not 10 minutes.............. Will pack the roast chicken for her then
-
Lappie cuddles!!!!!!!! It could snow tomorrow and I would still come along for that!!!!! Earl is pretty good at cuddles too - and he has lots of excess skin to share
-
I met Sparky25's Jaana - she was such a bundle of energy - like a little furball zooming around the park

He's even cuter when he is right way up and you can see that he has a face -
I am so falling for this breed - but not for a looonnnggg time - will get the kids grown up and independent so I can concentrate on training etc - having been lucky enough to meet the lovely Lappie girl at an Adelaide DOL meet I really think that the next dog I get (I get next pick in my family as my OH picked the Bloodhound) will be a Lappie This thread is so useful too

Earl - our bloodhound - oozes - he gets himself on the chair - leans his head on the arm and goes to sleep - his head slowly slides down the side of the chair until it looks like this..................... -
Would love to have an Adelaide one - who would I contact about it??? I have a year and have so much spare time (Ha ha) but I could just see one in Rundle Mall
-
Oooohhhh yes please for the chocolate slice!!! That was so yummy
-
Can't wait to meet you guys - I love koolies I will be the one with the bloodhound that has no manners *sigh* WIll check our clothes too Jo

We bought our Home alone toy 2 years ago and hung it from the pergola - we don't put food treats in it because we have 2 dogs and don't want to cause issues - but the kepie loves it just for the noise it makes. Must say I like the idea of having the pool under it - must try that for her. We also bought her one of the yellow plastic balls like the one on the hanging toy - she chases it round and has great fun - but she yelps in such a high pitched tone while she is playing with it and keeps getting it stuck in the bushes so she gets limited play with it ETA - we had a Sherman the Sheep tuffy toy but she pulled all the stuffing out in a short time *L* The skinneez I think are the stuffingless ones
-
And the drooly dog will be most happy to meet you too - looking forward to hearing tales of another bloodhound - being a first time bloodhound owner
-
We have one of the Home along dog toys - think it was about $90 when we bought it - the kelpie loves it - I want some of those with no stuffing in them - I hate picking up white fluff!!
-
It's not a bad size really - the dogs can run around pretty well DBT - just bring you and your feral(s) - and a plate of nibbles to share - there are benches and tables there. How does that sound?? ANd we are all relatively harmless - about 1 o'clock is a good time to come along too - I will be there about 2 with the drooly bloodhound ;)
-
My old ACD X used to - she'd hear it before we did - and we lived on a main road and there were lots of sirens
-
I'll bring chips and soft drink
-
Will road test the rope toy on Rosie And will sort through some clothes hopefully too
-
Have emailed my sister in Alice Springs who has made some gorgeous quilts for myself and my children - will see if they can help at all
-
I have my sons football game at 12 so won't be there till about 2 - will rug up for it - Earl will be happy to have any hugs going - will bring the drool towel. Looking forward to seeing everyone - Kerri - it has been ages Wasn't planning a bbq meet - might be easier if people just bring along some nibblies to share? I am report writing (boo hiss) so will be pretty busy for the next couple of weeks - what do other people think?
-
Couple more to add from tonight Never mind the dog ate my homework .....how about the dog drooled on my homework???? Bat........what bat??? Ssshhhhhhhh - the DOg Whisperer is on
-
I bought mine from K9 Pro for my bloodhound - he is 7 months old and I got the Large size - I then bought the same crate in a Medium for my kelpie - they are both zipped in at night and gives us great peace of mind. I also took the crate along to the K9 Pro seminar and the hound happily spent the day relaxing in it - it was easy to put up and take down too
