I have a Bloodhound I get tired of the "What is he?" - "He's only HOW old?" and I got the "Got a saddle for it" comment for the first time *Sigh* Oh - and the "Aw - he looks sad" - he isn't - the sod just plays on it for sympathy

Golden Ret Just Keeps Walking Back And Forth
MsKatie replied to Enigma's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Brave decision lynda - let yourself grieve for her - run free Kobi - where there is no more pain -
I took Earl ( 8 month bloodhound) in to meet my class of 10 year olds - they loved him and it was a valuable opportunity to teach them about dogs and what to do - we took it 3 at a time to meet him at first - he sat on 2 of them to get more cuddles and rolled over for belly rubs for another couple
-
I've trained my kids particularly my daughter who loves dogs - she will automatically ask "Can I pat your dog" and doesn't mind if they say no This is her getting Frosty kisses (after being properly introduced)

Sarah @ petshaven Was looking through the petrescue and came across this gorgeous bloodhound girl - poor thing - 16 months old - have posted in Rescue but thought I would try General too She was fostered but now her fosterer can't keep her - she needs to find a home - she is good with other dogs and cats - and with older kids - she is a big dog (as I know - Bloodhounds are not the most graceful of doggies - but sooo cute) So wish I could help this girl - fingers crossed - anyone want a Bloodhound????
