Had this come through on FB - it is also all over Twitter - thoguth I would put it up here in case anyone wanted to report it. This is their write up about it Dog Wars Description: Raise your Dog to Beat the Best! A GAME THAT WILL NEVER BE IN THE iPHONE APP STORE!!! Feed, water, train and FIGHT your virtual dog against other player's... action games, chatroom, many characters and dogs to choose from, virtual store, etc. This is a fresh Beta version, come try it out. Drop your cred codes and ideas in the comments section or message boards on the web. Check the shoutbox in the game for news and game updates, or just talk fight and talk smack with other players. Remember this is a Beta release... If you get a bug, please send us the report or email us. If you have a bug up your b*tt about the game concept, remember: 1. It is just A VIDEO GAME 2. Perhaps one day we will make gerbil wars or beta fish wars for people who can't understand fantasy role play games 3. Just because something is illegal in real life in certain countries, does not mean it is illegal to make a song, movie, or video game about it (looking at you XDA Developer Forums... deleting our beta testing thread and banning our account?!) 4. Just go slingshot some virtual birds to kill some virtual pigs. 5. Go complain to someone who cares about Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, Weed Farmer, Smoke a Bowl (these two are listed in the top 15 of casual games on Android Market) and maybe even Sierra's Leisure Suit Larry from 1987. 6. This is listed as a HIGH MATURITY app, and does NOT violate the Terms of Use with the Google market in any way!!! Let's Get it On! Please click this link to report the app: http://www.google.com/support/androidmarke...t_type=takedown Application Name: Dog Wars Developer: Android Reason for flagging: Graphic violence ......Contact Us - Android Market Help www.google.com

What's Wrong About Giving Dogs Human Names?
MsKatie replied to W Sibs's topic in General Dog Discussion
I just had to reply to this one - when my OH got his first dog - black staffy x - the only 2 choices for his name were Eric or Clapton - i chose Clapton because there was no way I was standing in the yard yelling "Eric...." -
I have never owned a traditionally docked breed but my brother has always owned boxers and his last pup came from NZ because he wanted a docked tail - also have friends who bought their boxer from a BYB so they could get the docked tail

Oh my - what big teeth you have Easter Bunny

How Did You Choose Your Breed Or Breed ?
MsKatie replied to jase293's topic in General Dog Discussion
We have had rescue dogs - a staffy x, a blue heeler x and a kelpie x - we now have a kelpie but ---- - OH's dream dog was a Bloodhound - so I started looking into it through DOL and found a great breeder - thinking it would be a couple of years before a pup was available - within a year we welcomed our big boofer Earl and now have have him and the kelpie - Rosie. They are great but so different in temperaments - luckily they get along really well. Next choice of breed will be a Lappie - although I do love the Greyhounds -
Sunday 15th May - would be great to see you cassie - I know you love Earls wrinkles and drool *LOL*

Glad I could be of help - my dog didn't like getting in the car but with the sides down he doesn't have a problem
-
Ours are exactly the same as the ones in the link - Just went and looked - they have 2 pieces you line up and a sheath over them but the sheath clicks in so can't slip down and catch your fingers. Ours are pretty much set up permanently in the bedroom though but have been used for outside times too

I have 2 k9pro soft crates- one for my bloodhound and the other for my kelpie - they are easy to set up and very strong - the hound has scratched at the mesh consistently and there is a small rip in it (which he put in it months ago and it has not become bigger at all) but that is all - I found them light enough to carry but i am bigger than 50kg Would def reccomend them :D

This site has back seat buddies from Running Dog - under $100 Running Dog I have one of these and I have a Bloodhound and a Kelpie (and a MAzda 6 hatch) - works well - makes them feel more secure

Which Breed Makes The Cutest Puppies?
MsKatie replied to Henrietta's topic in General Dog Discussion
Bloodhound puppies are all wrinkles and drool................................... ...............................but then so are Bloodhound adolescents -
No one checks as really you cannot stop someone walking their dog in the parklands. However you just end up missing out of the promo bag that seems to have a few bits and pieces. They do try to funnel everyone to the registration tent and remind often but its up to you if you want to donate or not. I was a bit put off as last time I went someones dog was throwing up around the entire track (ab out 4 times I saw) and obviously no one told them to withdraw from the walk so that dog may have been sharing the group drinking and other dogs whose owners didnt care were um getting at the sick. Not pleasant. I remember seeing that - and thinking Yuck!

Thank you for the link - have ordered a couple for my 2

Thanks everyone for the help - have def become more inclined towards the SBT - nothing against the Amstaff at all but just thinking about the fit with the family - thanks particularly those who took the time to PM me - we are planning to go to some shows too and she is looking to talk to some breeders to ensure the right thing is done - this is NOT a decision that will be entered into lightly. Oakway - she is very keen to do the right thing for all concerned and work with a registered breeder to achieve the best resuts for all.
