  1. Am lucky here, no flea problem. But I use Fido's Herbal Rinse for hydrobaths. No rinsing and wonderful clean smelling dogs. I recommend it to anyone with a hydro. Never had a problem with it or any other Fido product I have used.
  2. Ah, Skyline, you might have opened a can of worms with this question. We all have different ideas and swear by them. Ultimately it is your decision what you feed, don't get too confused. I do not use puppy dry food, only adult. The reason, I want to slow the growth down. My male dog was weaned and raised on Bonnie adult. He is a fit and healthy dog, he is nearly 8 years old and still in the show ring. I find some puppy dryfoods, encourage growth and as a Rottweiler grows unbelievably fast, I wish to slow this rapid growth down a bit so there is not too much stress on joints and ligaments. So long as your pup is not overweight and is healthy I am sure your breeder has him on a dryfood that suits him. I also feed fresh raw beef and chicken. Dog biscuits, and raw meaty bones. Every now and then I mince up raw veges and fruit and add them to their diet. I also feed pups yoghurt, cottage cheese and tasty grated cheese. These I use for their natural calcium content. They also get pasta when I can be bothered cooking it for them. A nice rounded diet.

    My Baby Girl

Run free little Ish, run as fast as your legs can carry you. My condolences Pandii and Family. Treasured forever in your memories.
  4. Trace and OH, my utmost condolences, God speed Abby Not a Rott, you can now teach Stewie all about sheep. Trace that is a beautiful tribute and the photos are lovely.
  5. Thanks for that info. Talk about being misinformed and mislead. Now I just have to convince my daughter who is studying Natrophy(spelling?????) or it would be easier for me to type Natural Medicines. I will still give my furkids chemical free chicken.
  6. I feed my carcasses, wings and necks. I feed chemical free chicken and beef. I was told by a reproduction vet not to feed my bitches chicken as it has too much hormones in it. I was having trouble getting a bitch in whelp and when I stopped feeding chicken solely she fell pregnant and presented me with a lovely litter of 9. I must say I only feed chicken mince twice a week now just for a change. I would love to be able to buy hormone free chicken.
  7. I feed twice a day for the same reason. Large dogs, smaller meals. Mine also get yoghurt for dessert at night. They get biscuits and sometime marrow bones during the day. I feed lean minced beef and dry food. I don't like that picture either!
