Since I have been adding white King Oxy-Lift booster to the wash I haven't had a odor problem and I dry my doggie towels and bedding indoors in the shed most of the time. Anyone interested it will be on special at Woolworths from Monday 28th at nearly half price $5.39. for 2 kg. I bought one yesterday on special at $8.98. I will be stocking up on Monday.

[Quote -Is tramadol different to tramal? She also mentioned needing a blood test every 3 months if we do use the previcox? My head is spinning with questions tramadol and tramal are the same thing so is Zydol (Tramadol Hydrochloride). Hope the leg heals well.

Good thinking. The dummy ones don't cost much... Thats not a bad idea, if I set it up on my cattle loading ramp near my feed shed he should be able to see it. Where we live all the trees are that thick now you can't see through them lol

Mita - I am on 18 acres and it is a funny shaped block so camera's are not a option.

How To Get Rid Of A Mouse Problem With Out Affecting The Dogs
smooch replied to BustaGirl's topic in General Dog Discussion
She may have been right - but wrong to assure you it wont hurt the dogs. Not ALL the poison is necessarily digested by the mouse when it dies. Eaten is not the same as digested. Poisoned mice etc have been known to kill wildlife, particularly predatory birds. I worked at a produce store many years ago, we often had stray cats move in, unfortunately they would eat the poisoned mice and rats and eventually the cats died. I think but I may be wrong, that the poison built up in the cats bodies eventually killing them. -
Mita - As far as I know this guy hasn't targeted anyone else, but in saying that I tend to stay to myself, so don't really know. I have been to the police previously and as they said I have to be able to prove the things he has done or said which isn't easy. Things settle down and than out of the blue for no apparent reason he does something like this. I do not speak to him or go near the boundary fences when he is around. I know He watches every move we do around the place. A few years ago I planted heaps of trees around the shed where we live so as he can't see when we go out, that has slowed things down a bit. At one stage he was ringing my phone to see if we were here, but as I don't answer the phone until after the answering machine takes the call that didn't work for him lol. Quote :-I think all you can hope with idiots like that, is that karma backs over them in the form of a B-double !!! Quote Fifi love the B-double bit. At one time I was considering selling up and finding something else but as my real state agent said I would find it hard to find another acreage right in town.

How To Get Rid Of A Mouse Problem With Out Affecting The Dogs

I have used these with great success, just put a bit of bird seed into it. I purchased them from Super Cheap Auto. and they are not very expensive. http://www.humanemousetrap.com.au/ -
Welcome jazzygirl, and yes we want to see pics.

My daughter has posted and the dogs in question are the ones in her siggy (Everythingsshiny) so as you can see they are really very thin and neglected. lol.
-
I am on 18 acres so a bit hard to cover the place with cameras. The dogs are in a smaller yard with access to two dog runs, they are locked in these of a night, also have about 2 acres done in with chicken wire where the dogs are let out for a run of a afternoon.

My daughter just rang the inspector back and from the conversation we are thinking it is a neighbor who we have had problems with over the years. He just keeps finding ways to cause problems like cutting our internal fences, letting our bull in with our heifers, letting the oil out of the irrigation pump and poisoning one of our bulls a few years ago, but we just can't prove they are doing it. The inspector said there is no problems with our animals.

Just had a knock on my door from a RSPCA inspector, apparently someone had reported me for having a lot of very thin cattle dogs on my property. He inspects the dogs which are Kelpies and says they are fine except for a little bit of a skin allergy on one of them but as she is under vet treatment for it no problems so doesn't know what is going on. The address he has is no 5 which doesn't exist. I do not know anyone with cattle dogs around here. The other thing is that for anyone to see out dogs they would have had to entered out property and as I am here nearly all the time I would have known if someone had been around. The only positive thing from this is that the RSPCA did act on a complaint and checked things out.

How much of the time does he wear the boots? My boy has trouble with the wooden floors but given how much dogs' feet sweat I'm wondering how useful they'd be for him. (he's inside most of the time). Smooch doesn't wear them very often now, but when he was wearing them they would be on him all day, I did buy baby socks for him to ware in the shoes, so would change the socks a couple of times through the day if it was very hot, on cooler days a clean pair of socks per day.

http://www.topdogs.com.au/search.php?searc...amp;x=0&y=0 I have used the ruffwear grip trex ones and found these very good, a bit pricy but will out wear the cheaper ones, has a nice solid sole like joggers. you can get cheaper ones from E bay. They were fine inside but didn't last very long. Smooch was dragging his back leg after a spinal stroke and was wearing his toes down to where they were bleading, he was also slipping over on out tile floors. The ruffwear shoes stopped all this.
