Just one Xolo, JSK & Ptolomy, I believe they are on Friday August 13th ( Friday the 13th lol) I have a great person who is showing them for me, but I just wanted to know what it was like over there, as in benching etc, noise etc . Oops I see Miss b has answered thank you so much. This outing is basically a get to show the xolo to others, we will be very hppy just to get around the ring, more a breed trip as so many have asked about the breed and a few new owners are up that way. Ohhh I am so going to go! I can not miss out on seeing one of your kids!! hahaha yeah just look for the biggest ridgie there and I wont be far away! I actually had one DOLer recognise Monster the first year from his pics here.... I heard her say to her boyfriend "I think that's Monster" I turned around and looked at her and she said "ummm is that Bakari? Are you on DOL?" :rofl: :D hahah and look at us now Ren.... that was a couple years ago now.

I would be most happy with that price..... I had Bella at the vets for less then 12hours $3,500 later..... with the result we dreaded. what did Bella have done in that time tho? I think i might have missed reading about it?? Yes that is a lot of money! Im not sure exactly what was done.... pretty much everything to try and keep her alive and it was after hours. No Idea what was wrong with her. But she was seizing and having convolutions for a long time which resulted in over heating herself and damaging her vital organs and possibly brain damage. Therefore was PTS. still doesn't get any easier thinking about it.

With the pet insurance I have you have to pay all costs up front then make a claim is that the same for you? I have a credit card for emergencies and if that doesn't cover the costs I ask my parents. Unfortunately I learnt the hard way with loosing my girl I fronted up with the money then and there from every place I could and am still paying it off a year later. So I strongly suggest anyone who hasn't got a plan make one, get emergency vet numbers and get an animal ambulance number, Have the numbers handy at all times because accidents happen when least expected.

Yes I realise that the dogs belonged to the OP's workmate. The OP was also contemplating taking on all 4 dogs so why not weigh up other options pertaining to the two dogs with the cherry eye problem instead of wanting to put them to sleep ?????? Well why don't you offer to take those 2 dogs on? Instead of causing confrontation. Both in the same state. If I could I most certainly would! I have a few dogs of my own and my hands are full so I can no longer foster any more dogs but a few of those that I own are rescue dogs that would have otherwise been put to sleep. I have 2 blind dogs, a deaf dog, one with a cherry eye problem that cannot be handled as he bites every time he is picked up but is otherwise healthy and happy. If I was in a situation where I could have fostered these two dalmatians with the cherry eye problem I would have done so gladly without contemplating the idea of having them put to sleep. Where there is a will there is a way. I would like to emphasise that I have never attempted to rehome my deaf, blind and cherry eye dogs; they're very happy here and will stay here till their dying day. Understood but you just pointed out the exact reason why the OP can't take on 4 extra dogs. She isn't in the rescue industry nor the dog training industry. Therefore taking on an extra 4 dogs (as you may know) is a lot of work. I think give her some slack she is trying to do the right thing. What she is also saying is because the dogs are dog and people aggressive what are the chances of them being taken in and rehabilitated? with all the other dogs out there that need saving. These guys sadly enough have a slim chance. Its a way of life unfortunately.... they just all can't be saved.

My thoughts are still with you Jed, good luck in surgery today. So so sooo sorry to hear about Magnus. At least all the dogs that have been given their wings had a wonderful and happy life with Jed. And they will never be forgotten. They're angels.
