Well my Bitch she is one, she never used to pee when she got excited. But now she does but its only when we come home in the afternoon.

Well I met this Lady named Liz (I think) and she rescues Ridgebacks and she has made a calender to help with the money and stuff, and when I looked through it I seen Bakari and I asked her if it was and she said yes

yeah you should they go nuts!! I brought a Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue calendar yesterday and guess who is in it????

Hey All Yesterday we took the dogs to Lure Coursing, with the expectations of Boss and Bella having no interest in it. We got there at 8:15am and then it was time for the puppy run, to see if they will chase the lure and sure enough they did! So then we waited for our turn to do a full course and we watched the other Ridgebacks, they were awesome did not think we would have a chance! Then we had our turn and Boss and Bella loved it. Then our second turn came around and they were getting excited and just wanted to get out there. Boss unfortunately had to stop because he hurt his leg but hes ok now. AND THEN Bella had her turn and she did really really well, everyone was surprised. We had to leave to finish moving house so we didn't get to find the results out. But we had 2 phone calls congratulating us because Bella CAME FIRST with a whopping 170 points second place got 160 points, Bella was only 2 points off getting the best in group for hounds We are so proud of our little girl :rolleyes:

Hello All Well over the past week Boss and Bella have picked up the most annoying little creatures. They have never had a problem before, until we took them to the beach and I am over them. Not only does it affect them, they affect me as well I have bites all over me. So I know there is a huge range of flea control treatments but I have not been able to find a poll about it, to see which one over rules the rest. I have listed all the ones I can think of so if I missed any please let me know and I will add it on. Thanks for participating!! ETA: I dont know how to add the poll

could I ask you which brand you use? I'd love to find something raw, ready to go and not too expensive... Doing my own at the moment but I find it a bit time consuming and messy, and would rather spend this time training or playing rather than pulping vegies with my small blender! Yeah its much better then doing it yourself here is there website http://www.caninecountry.com.au/ they have lots of great stuff. They make there food themselves and is cheap as 1kg is $3.25 and if you buy 10 1kg packets it's $30.00 they have a huge range from roo to turkey. They also have bulk bone products, nothing dodgy people quality food. ETA: Woops sorry don't know if you live around the brisbane area as thats where they are located. But I'm sure if you ask in the Health / Nutrition / Grooming forum someone will help you out.

feeding a dog is really not that expensive I feed both my ridgebacks (1 year old) for $30 a week. Thats just raw food, with everything they need in it vegies, egg, yogurt we buy it all made up and ready to go, easy as. I think you should change to raw food, but if you want to feed your pup dry food I would go orijen as it has no wheat.

dunno about the product, but I want a dog that sits there and offers you their paw to trim hahaha yeah so true

I knew there was going to be heaps of dogs there this week, just had that feeling and I missed out. Well maybe week after next I'll see you there.
