Sure all I did was times the scoop amount, which is 5g by 45 and you get 200, which would be 200g So you'll get 45 meals with 5g scoop out of a 200g tub thanks for your help. Will be purchasing some tomorrow. -

Ten facts about Boss 1. Boss is a "mummys" boy Boss waits for me at the door every night I get home, I don't know how he knows its 6 o'clock but hes there every night. 2. Boss get cranky if he doesn't get what he wants If I am making dinner he will be there by my side hoping I drop something, I tell him to sit and wait. After hes been waiting patiently for a minute or so and if he still hasn't got anything he will make a whinging noise and snap at me like "hurry up mum" 3. Boss is a failure at being a ninja. He isn't allowed up stairs but if he knows my Mum and Dad are in the kitchen he will try and sneak up stairs to get to me. But hes so clumsy and goofy he trips up the stairs and gets caught. 4. Boss is also superman. On the weekend I sleep in so Boss some how manages to get up to my room open the door and comes flying in 100 miles an hour and jumps on me, I look up and see this flying dog coming towards me, not a bad wake up call 5. Boss farts like a person. He actually sounds like a person farting people always look at me like I farted and I say nope It was actually him. 6. Boss is a weirdo. Boss has the weirdest sleeping positions I have ever seen, doing the Frog style with both legs backwards or with all legs in the air with his head turned to one side and tongue hanging out 7. Boss's favorite activity. His favorite thing to do while he is bored is to stir the cat up, since Bella has passed away he has turned his attention to "trying" to play with the cat but the cat is old and grumpy and doesn't want a thing to do with Boss, but he will never stop trying. 8. Boss's favorite foods are.... Cat food, Maccas cheese burgers, Maccas ice creams, cheese and pretty much anything that "falls off the table" 9. Boss actually listens. I love that I tell Boss to do something and he does it. He is a little stubborn when there is something more interesting happening but generally he listens. 10. I love him. I couldn't have asked for a better dog, he is my one and only true love and the only "man" ill trust. I love how he tilts his head from side to side when I speak to him and I love his sexy dark eye liner around his eyes. I love how soft his ears and how they warm my hand if I put them under his ears on cold nights. I love how he thinks he is a lap dog and tries to sit on my mother I love how, If I ask him for a hug he gives me one and its the most loving hug I have ever felt. I love him!

Hey Guys Now I have been thinking about getting Boss onto some Joint Supplements not because he needs it just think it might help him for when he is older. Can anyone recommend anything good? Have been reading some threads and is Joint Guard good for young dogs that dont have any problems its just a precautionary thing? If you start them on supplements at a young age does it help them in the long run? Thanks

OMG I am so sorry to hear this. How horrific. R.I.P Little darling. Bella will be having a birthday party and I'm sure she would love you to join her. (give her a kiss for me too) Hugs to you and you family at this time

Well I think in big dogs its better to desex them after they are a year old so there bones can develop properly.
-
poor little guys. Maybe you should show her so she realizes whats happen. It might help. So horrible nature sometimes.
-
R.I.P Jed to you and your family.
-
Run free now Jenny its so hard to see them go, but she will be happier there now.
-
Thanks all. Well it was 3 weeks yesterday that she passed away WHY do I always well up when I think about her still not a day goes past and I dont think of her and how much I want her back. Boss is doing much better, hes almost eating properly now. But still does the howling early in the morning. But we figured out if we leave the laundry door open over night (which goes out to the backyard) he doesn't howl as much. We had to apologize to our neighbors too coz it SOOOOO loud!

Protective But Not Aggressive Breeds
Miss BeRidgierent replied to Shakti's topic in General Dog Discussion
Maybe a ridgeback? But when I am play fighting with a human Boss starts to attack me so maybe not. -
R-L I have owned all at the same time, French Bulldogs, Bulldogs, Bullmastiffs and Kelpies. I have never had a problem with them not being able to cope. In saying that playtimes were strictly supervised. If they are healthy they can handle a good amount of rough and tumble. eta Thanks stonebridge, would you leave your frenchie unsupervised with a big dog with a playful temperament but not overly excited. for example you have to go to work and you leave them in the yard? or would you have separate yards for them.
-
How do they cope being with a large dog? Can they handle a little rough play and hold their own? Would you (if you were a breeder) sell a pup to a house hold with a big dog?

Hey All. I have feeling Boss is going to get Separation Anxiety now that he is a only dog. My reason being on the weekend we had family friends over my mum and dad were home and even I was home 90% of the time so he had plenty of people to play with him etc but he just wasn't interested. But for that 10% I wasn't Boss would cry and howl at the front door for 10 minutes then just lay down and wait for me to get home. And every morning he will howl at the gate and he has NEVER done this before. Will he get Separation Anxiety?? Is there something I can do now before it gets worse? ETA: We went to the beach on sunday and he was the naughtiest I have ever seen him. He ignored me the hole time pretty much usually he would run off pee on this pee on that then I would call him and he would run over to me. But yesterday he was just more interested in peeing on everything he wasn't even interested in playing with other dogs. he was interested in this one dog but thats caused he wanted to fight him it got that bad I ended up putting him back on his lead.
