Oh you're just too darn popular amypie! You need to start your own blog for your fans! Can I have your autograph? :D

Yep we have been working on the shake command, but for a dog with a strong history of shaking when she exits the water (when I had no intention of retrieving) it's been an awfully hard habit to break! -
I could drive. I've got room for 2 puppies in my car! Ruby and (Strauss? Cider?) And you can always wear your gloves ;) You won't want to know what I did yesterday with a pigeon that was past its use-by date then, do you? :D

I'm sorry for your loss of your beautiful Bracken. Run free -
Yes great photos, emery! I think there is some more conformation showing on tomorrow dogs wise, but performance dogs wise it is all finished. Have fun!

yes I know, I just like using this Yep you can camp at Geraldton... but I have heard it's not desirable to.... I think Rusky has a holiday house down that way she said we can stay at with her :p Where's Rusky when we need her Thanks for understanding. I felt terrible to do that I just knew you might prefer not to see me throw up on the patio Hope you feel better soon yourself! Absolutely I have a feeling this November is out, when is the trial again? Mum's off to Sydney on the 12th or 13th so I need to stay with dad who works nights as Pippa's puppysitter As amypie has already said, February is out (I don't actually know what the Feb dates are for Albany), we're off to Bali. But the next Geraldton trial, count me in I know Ruby loves to ride in the tollermobeeeeeel so we'd have to test Millie out with your mob (if she's invited :p) As long as there are no i-squeaks floating around in the back, I think she'd be fine I think you need to start retrieving again Ptolomy because the trips to trials are a doozy on your own, could really share the company and petrol costs! :p ;)

Thanks for te book and DVD Tiggy!!! :D Thanks MG for puppy playdate today. Again, sorry it was cut short. Bad timing to get a migraine

I wanted to do Albany in November but I think I am puppy sitting Pippa as mum is off to Sydney. Where was my invite amypie and RV?! :p OSS, isn't the agility/jumping over 2 days? You could fit in 8 runs per day! Obedience is one morning followed by agility. I need to go down and do obedience and agility. I also want to do Geraldton sometime.

That good, any time your free and want to come just say the word. Yipee just organised to get a friend to come and toss dummies for me tomorrow, save me walking quite so much. Will do, thanks! Do you head out every Friday? -

I took Ruby out to the local park where there is a lake again today, and we had a ball I stuck a couple of wings onto a dummy and it totally changed her attitude. She was a retrieving freak today! I just LOVED her enthusiasm! Her sit to whistle is coming along as are her water retrieves. We still have a fair bit of work to do on those water deliveries as I've figured out if she can see her bribe up front she will resist that dreaded drop & shake, but if she doesn't see the bribe she will drop & shake then pick it up and finish the delivery. I'm obviously not pleased about having to bribe her and we will be quickly phasing that out, but for her to continue with delivery after she's dropped it is a step forward in itself as before she would drop, shake and that was the end of the game as far as she was concerned. Sorry to dribble on but I just had an absolute ball out with her today and when we don't do a lot of retrieving training due to other commitments, these baby steps where things actually progress forward are exciting :D -

You'll have to report back on how the new spot went and then let us Perth folk in on the secret Might have to invite myself along to join you one Friday ;) I've been taking Ruby to the local lake this week to work on her water retrieves (well, more so water deliveries). I get weird looks from passersby but eh -
I got mine from 3pooches on Etsy and I always get complimented on them, even when I rock up to trials most judges like to comment on the pretty matching collar and leads Always puts a smile on my face which is good to overcome nerves of trialling
-
Yay! Love night time trials! Whatever would make you think we want to see a photo of a PUPPY!!!!! Squeeeeee!! Can't wait to meet her! :D (though I am fairly certain you said you were getting a boy before! Saw on FB it's a she now ) So talented!

I would rather somewhere a bit more exciting than the K9 grounds and wont catch me in that long grass there are snakes in there as well. Actually I have been there a couple of times after a bit of rain and there does not seem to have the ponds as much, looks like they have done some repairs to let the water run off? Somewhere more exciting would be good but as it seems a lot of the RATG being held in the east are in conjunction with obedience trials, it just makes sense, even to just get the ball rolling and then maybe switch to somewhere more exciting! And yes, I wouldn't send my dogs into the bush at Canine either in the summer. Wouldn't send them anywhere remotely snakey in warm weather, regardless of where it is! The water runoff I guess is a bit better these days, but it still does flood a bit. I was joking about using the water there for the test -
Mine better arrive today!! OR ELSE!!!!
-
Is that when you (and ST?) go away for your big trip? So are you still looking for a room to rent when you get back?
-
I'm bummed, my Canine News hasn't arrived I usually get it the day people start saying theirs have arrived, so I am highly suspicious! I wonder if someone stole it out of my letterbox? :p
-
Too right! And if Candice doesn't pay, then I WILL!!! :p
-
It would end up costing me more with petrol, wear and tear on car, days off work, etc! Not that committed :p
-
Really? I asked them about it and they said it was a $1 fee on each cheque written - and I have my home loan with them and an incentive package thing that gets me cheaper rates on their products. You'd think you'd get free cheques if you have a home loan with them. I should see if St George (owned by Westpac now??) give me free cheques, then I can give NAB the boot. Easier with less bank accounts to manage! I want to give BankWest the flick, too. Sick of their bank fees. However, I don't get charged an annual fee on my credit card with them, while with NAB I do.
