Much prefer girls, it's all I've ever known! My girls are affectionate, smart and loyal. Both are desexed. I am however looking forward to owning a male for my next dog, though, just for something different! As someone said earlier though, my gender preferences revolve a lot around their breed, too! Some breeds I would prefer one gender over the other, while other breeds it wouldn't matter so much. Has nothing to do with their temperaments, just my shallow preference where I can't put a finger on exactly why I feel that way!

I would have asked to speak to a manager... Hope they didn't wake you up My alarm had gone off 10 minutes earlier thank goodness, but like many, I could have so easily been sleeping! It might have been a day I decided to start work a little bit later because I needed a sleep in (which I should have done cos I really need it ) I just think it highly rude, regardless if I'm awake or not You'd think they'd be more professional than that, and LOOK at where the client is located. Anyway, I didn't answer it because I didn't recognise the number, then checked my voicemail. But had I answered it, or felt like calling them back, I'd be giving them an earful for the early call!

So when PetPlan looked up my details this morning to phone me, you'd think they would have taken note of my address/state, too. A 6.20am phone call is NOT appreciated!!!!!!! Just because your work day in Melbourne has started, doesn't mean mine has!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats Beth and I hope Lottie's leg heals! Saw the photos on facebook, youch! Hope your girl clears up too, Ptolomy! These dogs really do make us worry sometimes. But it's better than not having them there to worry over in the first place

Thanks I just got back from visiting 9 very beautiful 6 week old yellow Lab puppies. Ruby's nieces and nephews Oh gosh good thing they are all already spoken for otherwise I'd be mighty tempted! I have teeth marks in my shoes now and a hole in my tshirt but gosh it was worth it

Nice looking Toller and yes a really crap throw, poor dog! Might have gone further had it been thrown properly! I just love the hot pink collar and lead with a male owner, a man who isn't afraid, love it The first dog, choc Lab, looked more like a GSP to me! Kinda like a cross of both
