Woo Hoo terrific news Quick rush out and enter a trial I returned home this arvo and just did 30 seconds in the hall with each of the kids, cos its raining outside, and I am sure if I had said fly to the moon they would have all given it a go. They were all like dogs with new batteries It will be interesting to see what happens at the trial tomorrow night. Welcome home! Night time trial, woohoo!! Looking forward to it, if the rain stays away!! Your kids are always eager to work :D Ruby's been great fun lately, but we'll get in the ring tomorrow night and be brought back to earth Nothing like a trial and my nerves to make a happy dog in training turn into a dog who is off with the fairies in the ring! Yep thanks, OSS She could have seen them on Friday but I have trials on Friday and Saturday nights so I asked for earlier next week instead (another trial next Friday night). Wanted to be sure they were rested well after treatment So I will give training a miss the night and night after they are done.

I think Millie may be sore, her training demeanor has changed slightly. Ruby is training much nicer than she has in a while but I know she gets sore from her appointment with Deb, so both kids will get a seeing to We're booked in on Monday arvo... so I won't be training that night. RV, I will still come down and do an SFE and whatever else if you want

I have one of my dogs with Medibank and took out the policy when it was 100% cover. Premiums have gone up, as to be expected, but do existing customers still get 100% cover, or are they dropped to 80% like new customers?

My training bag is a huge disorganised mess. Quite often the contents are just tipped out onto the footwell of the passenger front seat as I desperately try to find something that is of course at the bottom of the bag

I bought a big beach type bag while I was on holiday in Brissy a couple of years ago and it turned into my training bag. It stays in the car, though. It contains basically everything - toys, empty jackpot containers, bait plate, clicker, poo bags, etc. My treats get thrown into a plastic ziplock bag or a container and sit on my front seat or on the bonnet. I've seen people leave little cooler type bags outside rings before (in training and trialling) and couldn't ever do that. My dogs would likely run out of the ring expecting to jackpot themselves! They get treats out of my pocket or we run to the car for some (or if I was prepared, we run to a jackpot container I hid before getting them out, but I mainly only do this at the park as there are trees, park benches and other hidey holes I can hide them in!)

You know you WILL drive off with your treats AND your UD scent articles still on the bonnet one day happens to everyone at least once!!!! Yep, almost got the badge to say I have! I've gotten as far as get in my car, put seatbelt on the turn car on, to either spot treats or articles still on bonnet or have someone flailing their arms about at me to tell me I have stuff on my bonnet

Yeah I have no idea. I was super efficient (for once in my life ) and I have all my entries in for both disciplines for the remainder of the year I'm usually one to post my entry the day it closes....

There are only 4 agility trials left for the year, and 3 obedience trials - that I have in my diary, so hopefully I haven't missed any! Better get your entries in as I think only 2 have entries still open!?

Question is, how much time can I take off from DOL before you all catch me And YES!

I left my training bag with a brand new packet of 4 Legs a bit too close to a tethered Ruby at retrieving once.... Millie is my treat stealer from the front seat of my car. Now treats get put on the bonnet most of the time.
