I've been through a lot of crappy trials to finally get the sort of high I am on tonight!! My girls took out Open, in a class of 15, with Ruby in 1st place with 197/200 and Millie on 2nd place with 196/200!! Somebody pinch me, Ruby beat Millie :D Well done to Ptolomy and Strauss on their CCD and congrats to your other dogs who worked beyooootifully!!!! Congrats to Bedazzled and Brookie on taking out UD! To Candice and Mason for their CD title!! And to ozjen and Jasper on their CCD title!! Phew!!! What a night and what a way to finish obedience for 2011!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Happy to be proved wrong, was just trying to look up the differences myself to educate myself so could have the wrong end of the stick Edit: Not necessarily sure that AQIS is part of Customs, though. AQIS is part of DAFF. More like two agencies that work together/complement each other to protect Australia. From the AQIS site: What’s the difference between Customs and Quarantine? AQIS is Australia’s first line of defence, reducing the risk to our agriculture industries and environment against exotic pests and diseases. The Australian Customs Service intercepts illegal goods such as drugs and weapons. AQIS and Customs work together at airports, seaports and mail centres to detect the unlawful movement of goods into Australia.

Everyone has been saying in here how full on Aussie pups are. I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has owned both Aussie and Lab puppies before and how they compare? An Aussie will probably be dog #4 for me, so I'm just asking for my own interest I'm thinking if I've successfully gone through Lab puppyhood then I should be right with an Aussie?

I made orders on the 6th and 7th and it doesn't appear to be cancelled. Where would it say cancelled? On the CR side of things? My orders now say "Shipped" (even though I got no email to say so, which I usually do!) so I hope they really have been shipped already!!! they arrive by Christmas :D

I am single, work full time and I have 2 dogs. I do want a third (and a 4th ) and time wise I could cope, but financially I think I'm best to wait. I could cope, but as I spend so much on my two already and if I want to get ahead in my mortgage, I don't really need the temptation of additional dogs to spoil The dogs are home by themselves for about 10 hours during the day (4 days a week, I work from home the 5th day), but they have each other. Then most nights of the week we head out for obedience or agility training or a walk, so my dogs do not suffer in my opinion because I work full time. They get a lot more stimulation than the average Joe Blow's dogs who might not work. I'm thinking my 3rd dog will be another 1-2 years away

We've been a bit light on for training videos here so thought I'd do my bit I was working with Pippa earlier with her dumbell hold, and when I've been putting my hand out to take it from her, she thought I was asking her to shake paw (something my mum taught her). I've realised in my attempt to get her to extend her hold, I was clicking her for added criteria of offering her paw as well But it's too damn cute that I had to capture it on video, before I attempt to shape it out again

LP, that's how it felt for me, too! What I want to know is how I managed to spend around $320 and what the heck am I getting for my money?! Thank goodness the good old parents paid for my second $100 order for Xmas So on Xmas day (if it arrives in time) I get to play with the water bowls, Millie's thundershirt, a cool puppy shade and a ventlock tailgate lock! Fun times I foresee!

Dammit now I HAVE to buy another $20 of stuff to make mine get up to $100 Sorry. In the end I did want those bowls which meant it was now a pressie from my parents and it was being processed on mum's paypal account, so I couldn't add anyone else's stuff to that And do not tempt me to find $20 worth of more stuff to aid your order! Though I'm sure RosieFT will want more balls or raccoon tails or something to help you out :p

Ditto I have the following things left to buy in my cart: Thundershirt for Moo Cool Puppy Shade panel Ventlock Tailgate lock I was going to get 2 of these http://www.cleanrun....Product_ID=2916 but not sure if they would fit on my car crate! My bars aren't shaped like a crate, they are in like 2 inch squares. Plus if the holder is plastic, no doubt the dogs would knock it and break it. Edit: because my fingers type words they aren't meant to! ie. I typed crazy instead of crate I must be crazy!

Yep I saw the photos! They look nice. I need a nice warm jacket for winter trials. But would seem silly to order one if I'm not going Which is why I never ordered a WA Nationals one, as I wasn't competing then! (even though I came to watch every day).

Did you forget to put them in the freezer when you got home? After hearing the sound of the new ones, I added 4 medium and 3 small isqueaks to my order, when I have a bag of them sitting unused in the cupboard! What thing on a rope? Do I want to know?

Mum was about to put a bunch of presents under her "tree" (not your typical xmas tree) and I had to remind her she has a 6 month old puppy

At the same time, can they move Aussie Shepherds to group 3 so I can do retrieving with one please? Sure, but if you get one like mine, I hope you wouldn't expect her to actually retrieve something? She doesn't have a retrieving bone in her body (she's more chase, pounce, OOH BUTTERFLY, leave item on ground 20m away from mum). I was hoping for more than just a group name move, but actually magically making them be more like gundogs I'm a gundog girl through and through, but so want an Aussie, too! Their only downside in my eyes is they aren't a gundog
