Way to go, Toby!!! I love videos sometimes, too. I think a trial is rubbish then I watch it back and it wasn't as rubbish as I thought
-
I was sad they didn't stock the other pretty colours, I was thinking Mocha or Pink Chocolate for Millie. Oh well! Not keen on paying through the nose for it elsewhere and I have pretty Parfait for her, now
-
The CR Mendota British Style slip leads were a baaaaaaaaaaaaaargain!!!! Approx. $10 a piece, brilliant! Love them, so soft and pretty!
-
Better not be if I'm going! We're hopeless! But I'm not going to let it stop us having fun and giving it a crack Don't worry about it
-
So can you crate your dogs somewhere safely and watch from the chairs if you have enough time to do so?

Only Ruby could figure out how to use the Kong Wobbler Millie decided she'd just pinch Ruby's treats she got out of it and she wasn't happy about that, so I took them away from them. Now I don't know where they are No way would I pay $50 either! Crazy!!!! Wish Clean Run would stock the Aussie Dog (?) range at a third of the price like most Kong gear is And yep I love my lock laces! Keeps the shoes firm without much (if any) adjustment and they come off and on with ease

That's my mum's pride and joy, and my training toy She's 7 months old and only the second black mini schnitzel I've seen in the flesh also. The blacks are my favourite and I'm not a small dog fan but this one is feisty and so much fun She's looking a little manky in the photos after us dumping her in the ocean (poor girl hated it!) but she got a bath when she got home and is looking all shiny again

That's been my summer training trick! :D You like??

What the?! What is going on! I hope HE'S ok, then!! Oh boy, your poor family!

Will we see you there next time ;) CC having a hard run of it at the moment. Thinking that they will name a chair in the Emergency Department waiting room after me since I am spending so much time there of late. Had nothing better to do this morning between 2 and 4am so thought I would go and keep the seat warm for a couple of hours. Maybe next time........ Hugs to you and your girl. How is she now?

Thankyou thankyou for the pics of Ruby and Pippa. Mum will be thrilled with the pics of her little black girl. Louis looks like such a little spunk in his photos!! Love his shirt, I didn't get a close up look at it but it reminded me of a surf lifesaving jacket, was it? Wish I had my camera with me when Millie and Lulu were both swimming towards the shore with Millie's Kong Wubba in their mouths. Neither wanted to give it up, so much so that they got to shore and exited while both still holding it Wasn't until I took it off them that they let go. It was a cute photo of them swimming together. I will never get one of my girls doing that together because Ruby relinquishes any toy to any dog as they approach, especially Millie

Pictures, yay! Off to go check them out shortly :D Nick, yes I put sunscreen on Millie's nose before we left home and again in the car in the carpark before I let her out. She licks it all off though, so I spend about 30 seconds rubbing it in best I can before she licks it all off! Can't believe Pippa, Lulu and Zora are all around the same age. They loved playing with each other and I think Pippa thinks Zora is her new best friend! Weasel looked like a pure Kelpie to me Wouldn't have picked him for a cross, but then again, I don't know a lot about Kelpies I'm busy looking up beach stuff to buy. Today has spurred me on to go back more often. I want a beach shelter or umbrella, and something to float on in the water

A friend of mine ran her dog at an agility trial at 8.5 months pregnant - craziness is all I can say

While you're here, can I ask a favour? The title has been bugging me for ages There is a u in Youtube I realised this the other day lmao! I'll change it now.. gotta love touch typing :p Woohooooooooooo!!! I can sleep at night, now

I saw smisch's videos from those grounds and they look awesome! I really hope I can make it over as it all looks like it is going to be fun! It all depends on Uni. I'd like to watch all these great dogs in the flesh, and just have a red hot go with Millie even though we haven't trained in a good 6 months Crossing my fingers I make it over
-
Great runs, smisch!!! Congrats on your Rally-O pass! Can yiou please tell us more about the separate rings they had set up? Everyone was doing Novice, right? So did they split the rings based on titles in other disciplines and did each ring have a different course set up? I find that a bit odd if everyone was doing Novice, I would have thought it would have had to be the same for everyone for fairness?

Thanks everyone for a great morning out Me and my girls had an absolute ball and my mum enjoyed coming with Pippa too and is talking about wanting to go again Louis was great, CC! I had a heart attack when Pippa ran up to him and got in his face but WOW, he was great! Would never have known he was reactive if you hadn't warned us Daisy was so cute. A bunch of dogs were sitting around me wanting a treat and Daisy was trying to get in on the action but was getting pushed out of the way. My mum took pity on her and gave her one - hope that was ok! Millie has met her toy match in Lulu She gave the toy up once, but the second time - NO chance! Both still holding on to it swimming to shore, and even once they emerged on the beach Looking forward to going back again, and maybe enjoying a BBQ after a morning dip. I'm pretty easy with dates, so whatever suits most others To those who took pics, can't wait to see some! *wink wink nudge nudge*

Great news about Bondi Sorry to hear about your negative experiences at the beach today, RFT. That sucks I don't get some owners either. Another one that baffles me is letting the dogs trot through the carpark. Put it on an effing lead if you value its safety!!! I've also hit some dogs in this manner and I was only reversing out cautiously, too. Today's beach meet at Kwinana was really great. Not a single bad word from any of the dogs, all played happily Even the odd dog not belonging in our group were well behaved Kwinana is a great beach where the water is equivalent in "niceness factor" to Hillary's dog beach, but waaaaaaaaaay less busy, you can get a carpark at any time of the day, and the BBQ facilities/grass/gazebos near the cars make it a great day out. I think a few of us today are interested in heading back again soon and finishing the morning off with a barbie Anyone who is interested are welcome to join.

I got those too ) purple for Coco, blue for Pip and green for the 4 legged grandchild Penny. They are great on the hands. And so cheap!! Think they only cost about $10 each with the extra discount on them, when they retail here for upwards of $20! They are nice and soft and so pretty. Got them for retrieving but I don't want to get them dirty

I'm looking forward to tomorrow, and so are the kids! Unless mum bails at the last minute, she is all set to join me with Pippa, so we'd still like to borrow the long line from Weasels or RV or whoever else said they have one we could borrow, please I want to bring the girls water wubbas as its one way to get Millie in the water swimming, but now I'm a bit scared of ruining any progress I've been making with their formal water retrieves I'm not sure how silly that is or not! Surely by keeping it all informal we should be right, but I'm a worry wart ;) Anyhoo, we'll see everyone anywhere between 8.30 and 9am if all goes to plan! See ya's tomorrow P.S. RV/ST, are either of you going to have your phones on you in case I end up at the wrong carpark? I'm fairly certain the one you are talking about is the one I've been to, but what makes me think twice is the one time I made plans to meet another person there with the same directions, and they ended up at a part of the beach closer to where I was. All the while I thought she had bailed on me and I had bailed on her

Congratulations on the awesome results, TN!!

Retrieving & Field Training Talk
RubyStar replied to RubyStar's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Great photos RV! And awesome about the training spot, ST, I was going to ask where the place was when I saw the photos on facebook. When do you gals want to meet up? I want to head out and do some training because I hate how slack my training is, and without a regular training partner, it is demotivating. I took Ruby out the other day to use the local lake and do a bit utilising the bushes they have there for a bit of cover, but we both got bitten by an ant and had to abort the lake work and hobble/limp home as it was the first time I had decided to make it a mix of a leisurely walk with a bit of training thrown in (we usually drive anywhere when we want to specifically train). TSD, Em sounds to be coming on really well, well done with her progress, you must be so pleased -
Testing out the upload of a photo directly from phone.... so thought I'd show off the pretty slip leads we got from Clean Run
