Sadly they are registered breeders. Huge overkill of photos used on the site. For some reason i get the feeling that they were members of this forum once but disappeared some time ago. They may be registered but are nothing more than a BYB to me. They mainly use head shots of their dogs, and of the few stacked shots they provide, well, let's just say they probably shouldn't have :laugh: Their dogs certainly aren't the "type" I like. Hope they are members here and read this, their practices are an utter disgrace!!!!

And they talk about them as "placing an order". If what you originally "ordered" cannot be supplied, no refunds are offered. You must wait around til they can give you one of equal "quality". :rolleyes: Oh and this quote takes the cake!!!!!! Their website and dogs are so bad that it's like viewing a train wreck, I just can't look away!! All they can talk about is the "lovely strong dark chocolate liver colour'. This site is appalling and the dogs they are using make me throw up a little in my mouth.

Oh dear. I located this "breeder" website with the information provided in this thread and WOW. Check out the puppy page with their agreement to purchase a puppy. Run Forrest, ruuuuuuuuuun, far away from this BYB I wonder if people actually hand over that much money for one of their pups, that is outrageous.

Agreed. I do need to stretch and toilet my dogs before any work, and even hate energy being burnt by that :laugh:

Judges scores rarely reflect what we think is worthy of a score (they either mark too high or too low :laugh:) and how many would remember every aspect of that exercise to formulate the score? Millie got full marks on her drop on recall and she didn't come with me on the lead up to the halt as she got distracted. Judge must have forgotten about that bit, as the drop was pretty speedy :laugh: Then sometimes the dog does something brilliantly and you lose a mass of points and you are left scratching your head! I can't offer much front help, my dogs aren't prime examples Currently trying to teach little Pippa a front and attempting something I got from my Chris Bach dvd. She sort of lures them between her knees and walks backwards in large circles, getting the dog to maintain their front position while they walk forwards. Perch work will help with backend awareness and then should help with keeping their bum in the right spot. Yep, think I need to do some perch work with the little one!!

Very pretty :) I'm another Boomerang Tags fan. Had mine for about a year now and they still look as new. Recently moved them from their "good" collars to their everyday collars and have been subjected to swimming at the beach, and still look great :) Jingly tags aren't allowed when competing so these make life easy for me! The tags in the OP look very pretty and sound like a great deal! Glad you are happy with them littlebear :D

Well it cost me about $500 to ship Millie from CBR to PER one way! But that was on her own, without a person. How much do crates generally weigh? Millie is about 22kg so I am hoping she gets in under 30kg with crate, but I doubt it

Times like these I wish I could bring a small breed to Nationals with me as it would be cheaper to fly :laugh: I've barely started agility training with my new training project (mini schnauzer) and she isn't of age yet so maybe the Nationals after this one :laugh:

Go and crawl back into your hole :rolleyes: Having being bitten myself on the calf by a random walking dog in my own neighbourhood when I was simply walking home, I can certainly sympathise with the OP's friend. Hope she doesn't have any lasting scars, physical and emotional - a dog bite can really shatter your confidence to simply walk down the street. I hope the owner's get found.

Congrats mirawee, I dare say one of the pups will be just right for you and lucky you will be getting puppy breath very soon!!! The Canine News did mention Rally-O, but it said to enter on the day so to me that says it isn't a proper trial, just a practice ring like we've had for a while now (but I could be wrong). I do hope we get some real Rally-O trials soon! Is anyone attending the Rally-O seminar early Feb I think it is? I considered it, it's $20, but not sure if I'll bother.

To save me starting my own thread, I'm hoping someone can answer this here, please. If a dog is registered with the Canine Council, and the dog is in co-ownership but one of the registered owners is not a financial member of the canine council, can the financial member compete with that dog if the other owner is not financial? Or do both co-owners need to be financial? Thanks :) Edit to say: I am talking ANKC sports here, not any other organisation or showing. Ta!

You wouldn't believe how many people keep asking is my chocolate LABRADOR, "Red Dog".

They can also anticipate this one big time, I know mine do! Make sure you vary this, put long pauses between commands, or reward and break off after one of the positions, or I will sometimes do a bit of an arm dance to catch them out on the next position

If you're interested in obedience trialling, at some point you just have to take the plunge and go out and train on your own (or with a friend) ;) 5 minutes of fun fast-paced training and then put the dog away for a break. 45 minutes of solid anything isn't enjoyable for anyone.
