Yes, she is a barker in those circumstances. Will start barking at presentations if I sit out with her. She's barking at me, little b!@#$. But I'm no behaviourist, I don't know why, nor how to cure it. I have to put her in a stay to shut her up, or keep lining her up at heel, or otherwise keep her working to shut her up.

That scream is ear defeaning, but I tell ya what, I would trade it for Millie's barking when left in the car, and her barking at me even when I am standing there holding her lead because I am not busy entertaining her I'm surprised she isn't a barker in the obedience and agility rings, and works in complete silence!

What colour are your seekback articles and are they square or round? Do you have a photo of one you could show me please?

Do you sell scent discrimination article sets, murve? What are your prices like? Also, what are you seekback articles made of and how much? Do you post?

I'm not sure how people got by in the past without mobile phones! I like to have mine with me at all times, in case of emergency.

What an exciting adventure you had, RosieFT!! I know the ovals you are talking about which can be scary for offlead dogs with no road sense! I've been there and had offlead dogs with no owners run up to me as well. About 5 mins later though they appeared over the hill :rolleyes: I called a ranger once and it put the Boxer dog on a lead with a solid bar with a loop at the end, and put it into her truck that way. I carry my iphone in my pocket. Maybe you could wear a bumbag/walkie belt and put your phone in that?

Congrats Ptolomy on all your wins! Your kids are a joy to watch and with what I did manage to see of Cider last night - WOWSERS!!! She is certainly is a special one and I can't wait to see her special babies :D I had my 2 girls in the challenge last night in Open. Ruby passed, but in usual Ruby fashion, she got through with all her added quirks to the routine. A scratch mid heelwork, a sniff of the figure 8 post, pounced on the dumbell and made it roll further before managing to pick it up :laugh: These days I am just happy for her to get through with a waggy tail and happy face, and that she does!! She even did her stays, but was clearly stressed when I returned to her from the sit stay. I thought the down stay wasn't going to hold because she was stressed, but the good girl stayed! Milliemoo did some very nice ringwork (bar a piece in the heelwork, had a bit of a sniff). First time ever though, she dropped in her sit stay, so I'm not quite sure what is up with that!

and I still can't find anything to wear Dust off your toller coloured pants!

Maybe the flight over explains why my rescue Lab from Canberra (flown to Perth) is just a bit crazy?! Her dog will be fine :) Mine wasn't crate trained before she came to me, and is afraid of things like vacuum cleaners so can't imagine she would have enjoyed the flight noise, but she hopped off the plane fine and dandy!

RV, you're missing out on so much fun by limiting yourself :p Yep TSD I'll be using trials as paid training runs too :laugh: I really hope the judges don't mind and I don't inconvenience anyone. As for the bee allergy, Ruby is booked in for allergy testing in a fortnight and then most likely desensitization shots after that every week for 19 weeks! So I'm hoping this will mean she can lead a normal life with minimal worry of bees! She isn't even safe at obedience as she's been stung twice there! Hoping winter in the bush means less bee stress, too :)

Poor Dove but yes, probably less traumatic than a cat! My dogs wouldn't be too welcoming of a cat in their yard as they've never grown up with them. Kitties need to learn to stay out!

Yes stationery buying can be fun! But I forgot the pencil case! Used to love putting my name on all my own pencils as a kid :laugh: Had fun at agility last night, too! Millie read me well and slowed down to not take an off course jump in front of her when the instructor yelled at me to "braaaake!!" Then nailed the rear cross directly after it which is a huuuge deal for me! I also ran Ruby once to give Millie a break and had someone stand at the seesaw for me as we used the full height one. I haven't ran Ruby over a single agility thing since about early November. She was busting at the seams for a go and nailed it, my good girl! She then did the best stand for exam in her life! Mid SFE, someone's goldie dragged them over to Ruby and she streeeeetched her body to return the hello but didn't move a paw!!! Big jackpots after that :D

No but I bought coffee and sushi for an early lunch at 10 between classes :p Made a couple of friends :) Home now for a quick snack and to check on dogs then it's back out again to buy a new backpack and folders n stuff! Then agility tonight :D

Off topic to dogs I just finished my first day back at school :D Am I allowed to say I can't wait to go back?! It also involved a test today, and I still wanna go back Yeah I know, novelty won't take long to wear off, but I have the bigger picture in my head which will hopefully get me through!! Great day

I think Ptolomy/bedazzled organized the lovely photo frames and I for one thought it was great! I'm still too slack to get a photo CC took of Millie for me and her ribbon to put on the frame. Oops!

Ditto amypie! I'd like to see those top handlers in performance get awesome stuff, too! Even when I won't be one of them :)
