B9 - how long til Mia comes home? ;) ETA: and how long til Aunty RubyStar gets her first weekly update and photos? :p Are you a dog sports or comformation person?

So how many ended up show quality and going to homes to be shown?

You have great taste in dogs AND names - my next dog was going to be Mia or Millie, but then I found Millie in a Lab rescue, and her previous name was Lily so instead of completely changing to Mia, I used my 2nd pick of Millie as it was very similar to Lily ETA: I wouldn't have called a dog of mine Misty, but it grew on me as I watched her progress the past couple of months!

My eyes had never been opened to an Aussie before that gorgeous thing came along, so can I be Aunty RubyStar to her?

I must know where my beloved Misty is going to be shipped off to and get you to provide me their email address becos if it's not a DOLer taking her, I will be stalking them via email for photos! It does break my heart a little I couldn't apply to you to be a new mummy of one of your pups, they really did capture my heart

I can't remember if Polly is NBT or not! I shall have to go back through this thread :p So it's either Polly or Misty! PLEASE be Misty!! That way I get to see photos of how that pretty little girl turns out! Polly is a stunner too, don't get me wrong, I just have a massive soft spot for little Misty ;) And LP - we all knew it was Lacey all along! Disappointed she's going by a new name, now!

What is boring about them? Genuine question, I am going to collect my lab puppy next weekend and am very curiuos to hear your answer. Nothing in particular, the same reason I find BCs, goldies etc a bit boring, maybe it's because they are quite popular and you see them around a lot. They just don't appeal to me as a dog I would want to own and train etc. That is my perception of BC's - way too popular in the dog sport world. Smart little buggers that are perfect for it, and even though I'm into dog sports, it's not a breed I actually want to own myself. So each to their own I guess. I just get my back up when people see these overweight, out of control Labs and paint all Labs with the same brush My girls are very trim and although highly excitable when they're out at a highly stimulating place, they are generally very well behaved young ladies! A joy to have.

That's highly insulting! Labs are perceived so wrong - until you get your hands on one, one will never know what a joy they really are. They aren't full speed 24/7, they do have the ability to chill out, soak up the love, and are very switched on! For the experienced trainer (which isn't me!), there's nothing they can't get a Lab to do! The general public who don't own a Lab, see them when they are excited to be out and about (it's a very exciting time, you see!! ) and condemn them as nothin' but trouble, but see them in their natural state at home, they are just cuddly bears and you hardly hear a peep out of them... my two are currently snuggled up next to the heater, and haven't moved for hours!

I'm (not so) secretly wishing that Misty sways LP at the last moment and she stays with her, so I can keep up to date with her progress!

Ditto for Misty!! Do your puppy buyers have colour preferences or they are happy to take whatever? Or do you have multiple people wanting the same pup?

Definitely, no doubt about it! And in all seriousness, if you have trouble homing Misty, please let me know! Though I doubt it, she's gonna be a heartbreaker that one
