Coming to Busselton on a schoolnight might be pushing it a little
-
Yep sorry Prada68, this is in Perth I'm not too sure who from here lives close to Mandurah.
-
Why must you all be so far away! Anyone mentions cocktails and im there  Well you've got just over a week to get here if we do it next week
-
OK now that I'm home I've had a chance to look up their website to confirm details. It's $6 frozen cocktails and tacos on Thursday nights (but other regular priced food is also available). If this takes anyone's fancy, would anyone be free Thursday 20th for din dins? Anyone welcome! Or if you have better ideas please let us know! I'm just trying to throw ideas and dates out so we don't umm and ahh for too long and then end up canning the idea altogether cos we couldn't decide
-
Anyone keen for a Wed or Thurs night? There is a Mexican restaurant in Vic Park that does $5 frozen cocktails :D Food is reasonably priced, too. It's called Panchos.
-
So this weekend is most likely out for dinner to get maximum numbers as we have trials Friday and Sat night... do we want to cut it fine to Xmas and do something the following Friday or Saturday night, or something midweek?

Like your style

It's a biyatch to put up I find still, I'm not too praticed in the art of gazebo putting up (and down), but we got there in the end and it was worth it CDL FTW!
-
Tell me about it. Had a picnic yesterday for my nephew's birthday and it was HOOOOOT!!! I had the good sense to bring my gazebo and a beach umbrella so had all the family crowded under my shade, while my sister's friends looked on in envy in their very limited tree shade

Happy to do Piney Lakes for a picnic, but I think I'll probably be sans dogs in that case Too risky for bees, and I could bring Millie, but without something to keep her occupied like water, she'll just be a PITA Else we could just have a human dinner night out like last year, that was fun :)
-
I was thinking about this, too. I'd love to do something, with or without dogs to celebrate the end of the year. Does anyone have any ideas? I'd really love to have a BBQ at Kwinana Dog Beach, so that's my suggestion Anyone else? P.S. does anyone have any time off between Xmas and New Years? We could do it then?

RUBY * RE title * Need to gain her confidence back on the solid jump after she hit it lightly (no injury, just a scare which has turned into a solid jump phobia now. The princess doesn't take much to get her confidence shaken!) * Keep working towards our UD title if we can get the jump thing under control. A pass would be nice  (we've been close, but no cigar!) * Work on her soft mouth for retrieving and perhaps enter some more retrieving trials if I feel confident enough. * Have continued success at Retrieving Ability Tests if more are held this year. Depending on how many are held, perhaps our NRA title. MILLIE * RE title * Get her better prepared for UD * Some passes towards her JDM title * ADX title * Have continued success at Retrieving Ability Tests if more are held this year. Depending on how many are held, perhaps our NRA title. PIPPA (my new contestant for 2013!) * Get her ready for CCD/Novice obedience * Get her ready for Novice Agility/Jumping I'm in no rush to get her in the ring for obedience and agility, though. We'll enter when we enter :)

You should have the honour of starting the 2013 Training Goals thread, Tassie, as you've already got yours ready Well done on your goals, RV, and I'm so happy that Toby got his RN :D You and him did some lovely work together, something to treasure forever :)

Retrieving Ability Test for Gundogs

I'd probably do the RATG as there are less chances for them.

Maybe an in between size then? The 6" doesn't really allow that much air flow on its own. -

I'd definitely get bigger than the 6". Mine is suitable for my back window of my car as I can have that open without the tailgate up, but if you only have the option of the tailgate, I'd definitely go at least 12". -

Yeah I bought the 6 inch one and never think to use it. Don't really need it often to be honest cos of my car setup, but nice to have. -
Who are those pretty puppies?!?! :D :D Photos are gooooorgeous!!!! Sorry I haven't gotten back to you yet, CC, I am still in Sydney and fly home Wednesday night. Hope to find time on the weekend to go through them all
-
Just keep in mind if you decide to pretend she's a "new" dog and register her as an Associate, she won't be eligible for gundog trials which I know you've asked about in the past. If you only want to try your hand at RATG and not real retrieving trials, get her assessed as a gundog and put in the Associate Gundog register. You'd get to choose the registered name too.

What's up with Rach? Will pop her a message to see how she is. I'm in Sydney right now, missing my girls heaps.
-
Must be coastal catch then, I'm in another state right now so can't check the bag  Wow ok didn't know how big a discount we were actually getting. Good to hear its a good deal! But I still find it expensive though compared to the BH I feed my other girl :p Got your PM Sags, thanks :)
-
RIP Toby xx You will be missed. I'm so sorry RV
-
Sorry, you're not the only one! I have confused myself and now I don't actually know!! Just went and checked an email from my local supplier (agility club) and it's Earthborn Holistic Ocean Fusion grain free. I pay $85 for 12kg. What is the frequent buyer program? Any idea on what sort of savings? We get a discount through our agility club so just wondering if this discount is comparable! Thanks :D

Is Nutro grain free? I've got one of mine on BH and she is thriving on it (best coat in ages), the other gets yeasty ears so have switched her to Eagle Pack Holistic grain free. No idea if it's doing her ears any good or not (as we had the ears flushed not too long ago so right now they're ok), but wanted her to be on grain free just for that bit of extra help. EPH is expensive though and I'm looking for an alternative grain free that is slightly cheaper - it costs $85 for 12kg while BH costs $95 for 20kg! Nutro doesn't have any grain free formulas. Which Holistic Select variety are you using that is grain free? If you are looking for a food that is wheat, soy, corn and beet pulp free then there certainly are some great options out there, or if you want a food that has no grains or cereals at all, then you need a product that is actually packaged as grain free (Artemis Maximal, Canidae has 4 grain free, Earthborn Holistic has 2 grain free, Taste of the Wild, Evo, etc). Sags :) Thanks. She is on Earthborn Holistic Ocean Catch(?) grain free. Whatever the fishy one is It's expensive, but I'll stay on it for a while and see how her ears go. I prefer to have both dogs on the same food for ease, but the price of EH is so for so little that I'll keep my other girl on BH for now. Her coat is great on BH, have had a few compliments on it and ask what I feed. For some reason, people are surprised it's BH
