There is an agility trial on the Saturday morning at the K9 grounds if that helps?
-
Oh no CC, poor Daisy!!! I'm sure she'll forgive you and by tomorrow will have forgotten about all the mean things you've done to her today Wanna share my brag - Ruby got her CDX title today! Yippeeeee!! :D
-
Not for a while It's one level I haven't sufficiently trained yet. It's all still a work in progress.

Thanks, guys It wasn't the prettiest of rounds, the grounds were very tough. But I am just so glad we got through it and now I can go away and finetune things I haven't had much success with lately without the pressure of a trial coming up. What a scary thought, we are now eligible for UD Not for ages though, that is me and Ruby done in the obedience ring for the timebeing. Time to focus on retrieving, training UD, and getting that heelwork the way I want it to be

Thanks for weather update RosieFT! Sunday stays ok! Yep! I drove home not long ago from dinner and the roads were so foggy it was eery!!!! I could barely see and everyone's headlights in the distance in the fog looked scary I turned my foglights on (after asking myself do I have foglights?!) and they made SFA difference!!! What are the point of foglights?

It's pouring here Not looking too positive for the trial on Sunday! But hey, the positive at least is it won't be too hot

Happy Birthday, Candice!!!!!! :D How is a little dog getting undies off the line?! Happy Birthday for yesterday, RosieFT!! Ooops, naughty Zac!!!

Yup that and a really nice box turn. I think they have far more potential than most people give them credit for as sports dogs. I was guilty of underrating labs as sport dogs as well. Go and check out some retrieving trials, then We don't have flyball over here so I can't comment on that, but there are quite a few Labs doing well in agility over here at the moment.

You're in awe?! Are you saying that you've done very little training and your Molly is entering Restricted? mollipop, I'M in awe of YOU!! Your Molly must be such a pleasure to trial with that natural instinct, but I am guessing that you aren't giving yourself enough credit for the training you have given her ;) I'm mad with myself for not training enough. I do bits and pieces of obedience, agility and retrieving, but not enough of one thing to be much good at it. I probably shouldn't spread myself so thin while I'm still learning, and with 2 dogs, but I can't help it I am fumbling my way through the levels in obedience and agility, but as there is so much to retrieving, won't be able to fumble my way through that one!! RV, your video is so cute!! When do I get Zora cuddles again? :D Is she old enough to come training next week? -
Wow how interesting because my parents one also has a white spot on the chest! We haven't seen any photos of it on its feet yet (mum jokes about does it even have legs?!). Yours has 3 paws,eh? What happened to the 4th? ;) kidding! :p Please keep us updated with how he settle in and his training progress, oh and please spam us with photos!!
-
Is it normal for the black MS's to have a white chin? Photos of my mum's one showed a white spot and we weren't sure, but seeing Waldo has one, maybe it's ok! Another Waldo pic from Sue's post

OMG cuteness overload!! My parents are getting black, too! Squeeeeeeeee!!!

I think it rained a bit and there were no sandy footprints on the tiles (that are matte so show EVERYTHING!!) so my guess is they stayed outside And took turns munching on the deer antler bone! Lucky I have 2 more coming and another that should be in good use just as soon as I take a hacksaw to it! They were quick to come in and follow me around when I got home, and didn't settle in front of the heater on their beds until I sat on the lounge.

Wow no activity in here all day, nor much for the whole week! I'll bring it back up top with useless banter. My dogs got to experience being REAL dogs, yesterday! They were outside all day while at work, no being dropped off at their grandparents, and THEN, were out last night too until about 9.30! I was home for half an hour-ish after work then dashed out again for dinner and the movies. Oh the horror of having to be in the backyard all that time! It's a first for them They aren't spoilt... much Edit: I must add, that last night I did leave the back door open for them. So they had the back room to go into if they wanted.

I don't see why not If you're taking it ONLY based on colour when other aspects don't add up (iffy temperament for eg), sure that can be cause for concern. But if you're realistic and can wait for the "right" one in the colour you want and don't expect to make an "order" and expect it to be filled right away, I see no harm in holding out for the colour of your choice. I'm so naughty! I am holding out for the one colour AND sex for my next dog! But my breeder knows what I want and knows I am in no rush and is very happy to oblige, and to top it off she is selling it to me on Mains so I can show. We have a good relationship as she's the breeder of my first dog

Welcome Waldo!! Love the name! Can't see a piccy if one was meant to be there? Best of luck with your new pup! My parents bring their mini schnauzer pup home in just over 2 weeks :D
-
I still see people who rock up with a chair and sometimes not even a stake and just sit outside the rings with their dog until it's time to go in! Looks like they know how to travel lightly but that setup terrifies me!
-
Bugger ness I would be opting for surgery at this stage. Open that sucker up and see if they can find and fix anything. It's a risk I'd be willing to take since the problem has been going on for so long with no real outcome with various treatments. Get well soon, Kenzie!

Think I might report you purely for the attire she had to sport for that photo

So what kind of present would you ask for when she brought the dummies back while you were still shaping the hold in front? All I looked for was her running back to me with the dummy....lots of running in the opposite direction, crouching down and acting like an idiot helps Great, thanks for that, I've done a fair bit of this with my current two and will do even more with a future pup -
Hey I used to drive a Daewoo Lanos, it served me well My first car! It still beat people at the lights.... if I turned the aircon off I finally upgraded ;)

As long as they are kept lean, I see no issue with their joints as opposed to other breeds.

I would get in while the postage is free. It is only $25. I just went in to order the book and the DVD set and the postage is $35.37 is only the book free delivery? Yep, only what's on the "What Ships Free" page. If you are only ordering a DVD extra to the book, I would email them and ask if postage can be done cheaper. Postage on their site is standard according to sending in boxes, but if you want something small and lightweight that can be posted in an envelope they can usually do it cheaper for you. I got jump cups posted to me in an envelope for under $10, when the site itself only gave me the option of the $30something postage rate. Can't hurt to email and ask
