Oh she's so pretty and what a cute and clever trick! After seeing this I just found and read the other thread you have for her (foster girl indeed! ) and I'm so glad that she ended up with you....lucky her, and lucky you with a whole crestie clan! So glad that her confidence is growing - I would love to meet her one day. I was really wanting to come up to your shop today but I've been tied up attempting to set up a dog run for Luka (he's recovering from a knee op) and he's not allowed free run of the backyard for another month and it's slow going...just taking a break now. :p If all goes well I'll drop by next weekend - I desperately need to stock up on fido's formula and those little milk bone cookies that Molly and Luka love!

Well done everyone who did this challenge this month. I loved looking at everyone's photos and being inspired to try new things. Oh and massive admiration to those of you doing project 365....a month is more than enough for me! No way could I keep this up for a year! Here's my last 'photo a day' effort...

I'm about to head out to an appointment but didn't want to forget to post today. Went to the bakery this morning - they make fantastic custard tarts so I thought I'd treat myself to one...yummmmm!

Oh Sam...so so sorry to hear about you and Brett. We'd love to still see you at future meets Unfortunately it looks like the forecast is stubbornly staying at 37 degrees which is much too hot for my fluffballs so I'm going to bail on this meet too...:D I was so looking forward to seeing everyone too...*mutter stupid damn hot weather grumble*.

I have had a really crappy last few days at work so decided to unwind I'd go for a walk on the beach. Snapped this shot of a seagull doing exactly what I'd like to do at the moment...fly away from it all. *sigh*

I'm way too tired to do the comment thing tonight but everyone's photos are lovely and it's so great so many have stuck it out for the month...3 days to go! I've had such a horrible busy crappy day at work I really had to force myself to take my camera when we walked the dogs or I knew I wouldn't take a photo today...... So here's my snap for Day 28.

I've only had a chance to very very quickly flip through a few pages but two shots that caught my eye is the shadowy one of Justice and that beautiful rainbow whippet by kirislin...also love all the tennis shots...my OH loves tennis so I kinda get into it by default! Here's today's effort - not very special. I made these from little gold paper chocolate wrappers that I had at work...

JS – That is such a fantastic photo…the contrast of the different coloured bokeh is amazing….it kinda reminds me of that really cool bus mirror shot you did early in the month…I loved that one too! tlc – cute pic of your boy…it would have been really great if there was a catchlight in both his eyes – but I know that doggies don’t generally want to cooperate and tilt their head ‘just so’ so you can get the light perfect! :D kja – another great photo…so bright and delicate….you have nice weeds! kirislin – oh my dear god…what a sign! Ashli – love the moon shot – feels like I’m looking through a telescope! redangel – beautiful butterfly shot! Fantastic detail whatever lens it was you used. :D FionaC – I think having a new puppy gives you the right to take nothing but puppy photos! Especially when you have such a cutie on hand…who could resist! JS – love your day 24 shot…different perspective is always cool. :D Terranik – I can nearly feel the relief with you in the standing in the rain shot…I really really like that one. SB – Oh yum! What a cool cake! Hope Imogen had a lovely birthday. :D Crazy Daisy – oh how cool is that chalkboard…I would have loved that as a kid. And yummmm tim tams…..I need to go dig around the house for some chocolate! helen – I like the bright happy feel to that photo…nice shot. anniek – not sure what it is but to me that church looks like a model/miniature one…so odd! evolving – oh sorry to hear about your camera! That sucks. kja – Harry is a cutie…cute little pink tongue! Two Spirit – really love the ice shot and sleepy Taite – oh and chuzzles! I have it on pc and I love playing chuzzles! I had the day off from work today (yay!) so decided to put some effort in…so inspired by all you fabulous people here is my first attempt at a self portrait.

I decided to make DOL my first port of call this morning to try and catch up and comment on all the photos before everyone gets theirs up for today! So here goes...sorry to anyone I missed but there were so many and they're all fantastic! redangel – that vine flower is so cool! I’ve never seen anything like it...It could totally be a plant from Pandora (if anyone here’s seen Avatar. ). TD – what a handsome kelpie on that ute. Great photo from the car. tlc – I used my 100mm 2.8 macro lens for the shot of my OH’s eye. My OH bought it for me for Christmas and I am just sooo in love with that lens!...and I love my OH for buying it for me of course! ;) Rozzie – awww…Archie is so cute. My dad has a little scruffy dog and I do have a soft spot for little scruffers... Shell – oh I love frangipanis…love all the soft pinks and creams and yellows all swirled in together…beautiful photo. Oh and I love love love Mow – he is such a beautiful cutie pie of a cat and I love his name!! And I love the colour of his eyes – so striking and a beautiful contrast to his dark face...;) excuse the gushing but I do really love cats and he’s soooooo cute! Terranik – cool flyball shot! Was your camera on a tripod at the end there? And if it was were you worried the doggie would knock it over? Awesome shot. bec – oh Henry looks so cute and sweet...he looks like he’s giving that classic dog following you home look like he’s saying ‘will you love me pleeeease??’ and I think his grubbiness makes him cuter! SB – ooh fashion shoot! Wow you’re really branching out hey? Great shot... kirislin – LOVE the catch shot! Fabulous photo... Evolving – love Echo the water monster...love how you’ve frozen the movement of the water spilling out of her mouth...very cool. tlc – love the photos of Pickles! And what a cute name! FionaC - ooh puppy pics! Archie is adorable – can’t wait to see him grow into those ears and those huge feet! Love the puppy pile photo too... poocow - your dogs always look perpetually happy! Nice photo... ness – I like your second day 22 photo too. :D She looks so comfy... Wolfsong – Cool viking photo! And such a great idea. SB – that is a really fantastic photo of the cyclists! So good it makes me want to duck out of the way – I can’t imagine how you must have been feeling with them all bearing down on you! Katesummer – I like the sky without the border too...beautiful colour and texture to the clouds… JS – I quite like that photo of justice even with him not looking at you...he kinda looks wistful to me. And I’m generally a fan of colour but that black and white one is nicer I think...gives a better contrast sort of makes his darks seem darker and his browns seem fawnier...if that makes any sense! Shell – ooh cool self portrait! I would love to do one but I’m too chicken...we’ll see if I’m out of ideas next week and I might end up throwing one in! lol about the vampire comments...although they sure are very ‘in’ right now...the colour of your eyes is so cool…particularly the shine of your left eye in the shadow of your hair…really really cool. oh I am soooo tired tonight....work has been so busy and I'm just stuffed...I will come have a look and comment on everyone's photos tomorrow when I have some time. Very dull shot for tonight cos I am seriously struggling to keep my eyes open...tonight's photo is of Luka looking exactly how I feel....although I toyed with the idea of calling it 'Be one with the floor' I love my little golden boy....

Really made me laugh… JS – Love Justice and his bone…Even out of focus as he is I can still see those wistful eyebrows looking at the bone…I was actually kinda hoping you’d cave at some point this month just cos I love photos of Justice! Shell – love Zero’s expression… SB – Adelaide’s gone bike crazy hasn’t it! Nice shot. bec – amazing shots as always! That skateboarder one is an excellent capture. Love the silhouette. anniek – love the…umm…llamas? alpacas?? ( not sure what they are sorry!) running around…having them doing zoomies must be quite a sight! Great photos….he looks very focused. flyingduster – I can’t get enough of your kitties…they’re so pretty and cute and funny! tlc – so jealous of your beach! The colour of the water is amazing…the middle shot of the beagle doggie running through the water looks like he’s got a motor attached! poocow – Love the shot of Archer…I love how long his whiskers are! Crazy Daisy – love the colour in the purple flower shot.. JS – sharp shot of the seagull….shame about the wing edge – but such a clear shot for a shot taken out of the car window! Wolfsong – ooh swans! I’ve seen some down the river where the horsie was but they weren’t there last night…might have to go looking for them and try and get a shot… Oh and I agree with kja - such beautiful DOLers – and so talented too! My OH kindly offered to be my subject tonight and sit there unblinkingly while I shoved my camera in his face. Oh and if you look closely this is as close as you guys are getting to a photo of me!

I'm sure Pete is still gorgeous...even if that is a puppy pic of him. My avatar pic is of Luka as a puppy - he looks a lot different now! I meant to add - looking forward to meeting you as well as meeting Pete! It's always good to meet the people behind the usernames as well as meet everyone else's doggies!

Ooh - baby puppy bloodhound cuddles! How exciting! I should be able to make it on the 31st....depends on the weather a bit since my fluffballs just about melt in anything hotter than 30 degrees but as long as its not too hot I'll be there! Excellent shots though…the expression in that last one is hilarious…. tlc – the colour of the water in your last shot is sensational…and your doggies are so cute as always! Kirislin – I really love that photo! The contrast of the cockatoos and the dark sky is great…I could definitely see that on a postcard. Crazy daisy – love the chilli plant. Whenever I see one they always look so cool. Riley James – thank you so much for the compliment. I’m such a novice at the whole photography thing (only had my dslr 4 months) so it’s really nice when people like my pics. ;) good work on taking photos every day even if you haven’t been posting…I like your two of ‘big bad boof’ the most – what a handsome handsome boy! kja – I don’t even drink beer but that photo makes me want one! lol shell – really like the storm cloud shot….I find photos of storm clouds fascinating… poocow – love the shot and the caption! Aaaanyway....onto today's effort.... With much thanks to tlc for the inspiration I went out today and (after many many failed attempts!) managed to get a semi decent shot of my two pups together...

Kirislin – very cool sunflower shot – I’d love to see the whole flower in bloom. Such happy flowers… bec – always love your shots…your doggies are so gorgeous and you always seem to capture the moment so well…your last shot cracked me up little Charche lurking at the bottom there! Great great shot…I completely agree with JS you have a real flair for photography and should definitely pursue it professionally. I would definitely buy your photos - if I could decide which ones I like best! Here is my completely uninspired my-god-its-monday-and-I'm-buggered-so-i'm-just-going-to-walk-outside-the-front-door-and-snap-the-first-thing-I-see photo. Bring on tomorrow!

RottnBullies – Love all your pelican shots….the flying shot is especially good! SB – looks like bubby isn’t all that happy about being out in the sun! But nice photo all the same. :D re my flower photo – I was playing with using manual focus for the first time with that flower so you’re probably right and it is a bit soft – I think the colour is so bright it drowns out some of the sharpness too….Thanks for the comment. :D Evolving – your puppy is soooooo cute! Love the high ground photo too…that’s what my cats used to do to get away from Luka! Kate – love that lizard photo. I really like the colour of the fallen leaves/flowers in that shot… SBT – The middle shot is my favourite of the three. I like the contrast in colours – the yellow, green and then that fantastically dark sky… Ams – Oh I love your visitor shot. Looks like they’ve run out of hands! But then I’m a bit of a sucker for blue eyed cats… Schauzerboy – ooh nice action shot. I like that you’ve got the WTC sign in the background… iltby – love the simplicity of that photo….not sure what you wanted it to turn out like but I like it anyway!
