It's 12 months today since we lost our beautiful Brianna. I can hardly believe how fast the time has gone! Brianna, I still miss you so much, my beautiful girl! Another little puppy girl joined our family five weeks ago, and we adore her, but we wish so much that you were still here too! You would have loved Melody, and I know she would have adored having you for a big sister. I will always love you, my darling. xxx

I am really excited to finally be joining this thread. I have been keeping it a secret for two weeks, but am too excited to keep it a secret any longer. We have a new cocker spaniel puppy joining our family in January. She is two weeks old!

She was my very precious girl and it is still hard to believe that we lost her so suddenly. Cockers are such special dogs. Anne, sorry I didn't see this when you wrote it. Yes, it is a very beautiful photo of Brianna. I know that you understand how I am feeling, and I hope things are getting a bit easier for you. I don't think you ever get over the loss, you just learn how to deal with it.

Which could be any dog!! It also depends on the person whether they think a dog is menacing. Some people are terrified of any dogs, so they will perceive any dog near them to be menacing!

Shelby, I am really sorry, I missed the part about your mum. You must be absolutely devastated, losing your mum and Brandi on the same day! My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Shelby, I have only just seen this! I am so sorry for the loss of your precious girl! I remember you telling me about her when you were here. Run free Brandi, you have been a wonderful friend for your mum, and she will miss you terribly. So be a good girl, and wait for her at the bridge.

Take comfort in knowing that you gave him a wonderful life and that he died knowing he was loved and treasured. The difference in his entire being is so evident from the first compared to the last photo. He knew he was special and he knew he was loved.
