I have the pixma 4600. Bought it a year ago and I think it prints decent quality prints

Yay! you have it! I now shoot in the Av mode and using the manual focus, rather than auto. It all takes time but play around with the different settings and you will soon know what you are doing

No I didnt, BB. Will have to try it out soon, but as these were my first sunset pics with my camera, I thought I would just experiment with different compositions first
