My tri girl had a bit of pink on her nose when I got her at 8 weeks. It filled in completely by about 4 months old. At 2 weeks old their noses are still filling and could take a few more weeks to fill, still early days I agree with what MissMolly said, he'll steal your heart straight away

Just a couple more ive taken with this lens! Its been way too hot here in Adelaide to venture out and take photos. I would love to head to the botanic gardens soon and get some real nice close ups. But for now, my pooches are still my little models

Oh Bec, im turing green with envy! That lens is next on my list but not for many more months to come!! Just bought an imac and thats already a big spend! Looking forward to the pics when you get it!!!

Thanks for your reply. She is pretty small so she probably doesnt get much of a view from the back seat. I have read that raising them up so they can see helps. Then again, who knows. I guess its just a matter of trial and error.

Hi :D On the weekend we are travelling to a coastal town which is approx a 90 min drive. One of my girls gets car sickness, even on a 10-15 in journey. I make sure I dont feed her before the ride, but she still has a small liquidy type vomit. The only time she doesnt vomit is if someone holds her. I have heard there are rescue remedies you can get for motion sickness but was wondering if there were any other alternatives? I read that ginger was ok to be used in dogs, but how would you give it and how long before the trip? Thanks for your help

Well, I havent really experimented on real close ups yet, but these are just a couple of pics I took with my new lens, the 100mm 2.8 macro! I love it, though its quite heavy. I was so used to using my light 50mm This one is a bit blurry but it was so cute :D

I need to buy some UV filters for a couple of my lenses but not sure whether the brand makes a big difference? When I bought my camera, I got two 58mm Kenko UV filters for my lens kit lenses. I will need one for my 50mm 1.8 and 100mm 2.8 macro. What brands do you use? (for those who use them). And also, down the track I was thinking of getting some polarizing filters, what brands are good with those? And finally, are lens hoods better to use than filters?? Whats everyone's stance on this? Thanks for your help!
