I finally got round to investing in a decent flash (Canon Speedlite 580EX II). There is just so much that its capable of and I just dont know where to start! I have been doing my own experimentation but it would be really good if there was a short course about them here in Adelaide... but I cant really seem to find anything. Are there any decent books about them? It just looks so humungous on the camera!

Indeed it is This time of year, Adelaide is buzzing. We have the Fringe Festival on now too, people everywhere in the city!

Last night Andrew (SchnauzerBoy) and I went to the city where they had the Northern Lights on show as part of the Festival of Arts. The buildings are lit up with different images and it really is something!! Anyway, here are just some of my favs (took about 100 pics). I just copied them off my redbubble so my watermark is on there, dont mind that. Will be interesting to see how Andrew's came out!
