I have just realised that my 3 dogs are all on different registers for their microchip, 1 is CAR, the other National Pet Register and the other is NSW Companion Animals Register. Does anyone know if I can transfer them all onto the same register? I find CAR is very good, I can logon to my account and easily update info when I need to so id like to be able to transfer my other 2 dogs to this register..is this possible?

I think what you need to realise Angelsun is these dogs you are talking about such as "a rise in the centre of the spine, weak in the rear, step on their hocks, wobble with great abandon and constantly stumble" are not what specialty breeders are aiming to breed. Like ALL dogs in the ring none are perfect and all have faults. Now take the German Pinscher for example. Their breed standard states that the forequarters should form an angle of approximately 45 degrees to the horizontal. I have had alook at a few Pincsher breeders webpages both here and overseas and nearly every photo shows dogs whom are practically straight in front with no angulation....it looks as though there forequarters are an extension of their ears....now I could go on about how cruel you Pinscher breeders are for breeding dogs with straight fronts but that would be just stupid now wouldn't it. I am not denying Shepherds need improvements in some areas but take a look at the German Seiger winner from 2011 and go onto the gsdcv website and you will see the top dogs that are winning are not weak in the rear, dont have a rise in the centre of the spine and dont wobble with great abandon! All you are doing is looking at the dogs at the end of the line and being a dramaqueen!

The 2011 German Seiger Show Open Dog Winner. I dont see a "rise in the centre of the spine" as angelsun put it??? Check out the movement, doesn't look weak to me??? He didnt fall over either!

all went well in the end and we are very happy we made the decision...have heard however that she has rang other breeders trying to give us a bad name but its our desision and we would do it all again. I will be doing things abit differently the next time round, was my first litter.

well the call has been made, and yes lilli, we told her he was unsuitable due to temperamental issues however she is being persistent and says she wants to see him, she cried and cried, but we have told her no, its in everyones best interests. We will just have to wait and see what happens now ...we are waiting for bank details

Do you not have a contract that was signed when you sold the puppy and collected the money ? Other than the conditions on that, I am not sure what the legalities would be ?? yes on my recepit it says if we can no longer offer you a puppy, you will be issued a full refund.
-
yes very true....I hate feeling like the worst person in the world...I just think how I would feel in her shoes and it would upset me alot having a puppy taken away but again I think its the right decision for the puppy.

yes I emailed my concerns after the 4 hour convo and my phone went flat and she appologised and said she had to much to drink and that she still really wants him but we dont think she is ready

we sold a puppy to a lady who has paid for the puppy in full and is due to pick him up in a weeks time. We have had a few problems with this lady including complaining about the amount she spent on the puppy (talks about this every time we talk to her) and most recently said she was nervous about getting him etc plus a few other things. We now would prefer not to sell her this puppy and refund her money in full however have been told by someone that legally the puppy is hers and my law we cannot change our minds. Has anyone been in this situation? I have spoken to a few breeders who have said they do it all the time but just wanted to check with some people on here.
