  2. Hi, I have a litter of Jacks due mid July and was after other breeders opinions re best heating as we live in Tassy and it was -4degrees the other night.Puppies will be in the house but preferrably in our laundry area as we have other dogs inside and would like to keep mum and pups separated in a nice quiet area. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. At present our laundry area is not heated but am trying to decide the best options eg heated whelping box or heater for the room:)

  8. Thanks for that, I have no plans to use him at stud for a very long time but I believe in health testing but cannot see a reason to do the testing if he will never be able to be used as a stud dog.
  9. Hi, My vet checked in recently and could not locate them but felt that they may still come down but that was three weeks ago. I will take him to our repo expert and get her opinion. I am just about to have him DNA tested for any health issues related to his breed but think that I will hold off. Cheers Sharon

  11. Hi, I am the proud owner of a gorgeous Aussie boy who has just turned 4 months old. I am concerned as I cannot feel either testicle and he is quite a big boy weighing in over 11 kgs. When should I be concerned about this as I bought him to show. I have spoken to his breeder already who stated that they were both there at 8 weeks of age.I have had since he was 9 weeks old and I could not feel them at that time. How long should I wait before it is unlikely that they will come down. Cheers Sharon
  12. Hi, We have a show in two weeks so thought it was about time to remove the glue. No problem with asking the breeder just thought I would get a quicker response from the forum. Cheers
  13. Hi all, I am the proud owner of a gorgeous Australian Shepherd puppy named Maverick. When Maverick arrived two weeks ago ,his ears were glued down by the breeder. Only problem is that I am having trouble getting them unstuck! They have a lot of glue on them and it has caused a large hard area that looks impossible to get scissors through without causing damage to his ears. I s there anything I can use to help disolve the glue without hurting my puppy.Any help would be appreciated.
