  1. Not sure either, except that it would be 100% Australian fish. Why don't you drop them a line on their Facebook page...Jody is pretty quick to answer any questions. I gave it 1/2 & 1/2 last night with the Lamb to my guys & they pushed their plates all over the floor, licking up the last crumb  the size of the kibble is bigger too.
  2. Mid North Coast Canine Club Taree may be able to help you :)
  3. I notice you are on the Mid North Coast. There is a great dog training club at Port Macquarie & also Coffs Harbour that do all those sort of things.
  4. It has only become available since 1st July. I just gave my two a small handful to try & it got the The bag has a resealable zipper on it too which is a good idea, especially seeing that it has a real fishy smell.
  5. My two dogs are still thriving on it. Just out of interest, seeing that the BH thread has popped back up, there is a new one out called Fish & Potato (the potato is actually sweet potato). It is about $10 to $12 dearer than the Lamb or the Chicken, for a 20 kilo bag, but I am interested in feeding some to my guys as a bit of a change. Here is the ingredients list Fish & Potato Adult Dog - NEW Ingredients: Anchovy & Ocean Fish Meal, Salmon Meal, Sweet Potato, Ground Whole Brown Rice, Fish Oil (Preserved with mixed Tocopherols, source of Vitamin E, Citric Acid and Rosemary Extract), Oat Groats, Field Peas, Natural Fish Flavour, Emu Oil, Poultry Oil, Whole Linseed, Glucosamine, Chondroitin Sulphate, Inulin, Carrots, Blueberries, Dandelion, Peppermint, Dried Rosemary, Tomato Powder, Dicalcium Phosphate, Egg Powder, Potassium Chloride, Yucca Schidegera Extract, Zinc Oxide, Zinc Amino Acid Chelate, Iron Sulphate, Vitamin A-Acetate, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Manganous Oxide, Vitamin E Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Copper Sulphate, Manganese Amino Acid Chelate, Copper Amino Acid Chelate, Riboflavin, Niacin, Calcium Pantothenate, Folic Acid, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Mononitrate, D-Biotin, Calcium Iodate, Sodium Selenite, Cobalt Carbonate. Guaranteed Analysis: Crude Protein (Min) 22% Crude Fat (Max) 14% Crude Fibre (Max) 4.5% Crude Ash (Max) 9.0% Phosphorus (P) (Min) 0.8% Calcium (Ca) (Min) 1.0% Moisture (Max) 10% Omega 3 Fatty Acid (Min) 0.6% Omega 6 Fatty Acid (Min) 1.7%
  6. If what the OP claims is true, then there must be an awful lot of sick dogs out there. I Googled Yucca Extract & couldn't find one claim against, it. Why would manufacturers put Yucca Extract & Inulin in their food if it is going to poison our dogs?? I cannot understand, why, if the OP is so paranoid about things in dry dog food, why she doesn't just feed RAW Lots of people have differing opinions on these things, so to be sure...why not just feed Raw. It doesn't make sense that she doesn't have the time to feed raw & it certainly doesn't have to be expensive, compared to premium brand dry. ETA...if I lived in Tassie like the OP does I would be feeding road kills, as there is no lack of them down there....a good source of fresh free meat. :)
  7. Have you had a look at the new Australian Black Hawk, Fish & Potato (sweet potato) Fish & Potato Adult Dog - NEW Ingredients: Anchovy & Ocean Fish Meal, Salmon Meal, Sweet Potato, Ground Whole Brown Rice, Fish Oil (Preserved with mixed Tocopherols, source of Vitamin E, Citric Acid and Rosemary Extract), Oat Groats, Field Peas, Natural Fish Flavour, Emu Oil, Poultry Oil, Whole Linseed, Glucosamine, Chondroitin Sulphate, Inulin, Carrots, Blueberries, Dandelion, Peppermint, Dried Rosemary, Tomato Powder, Dicalcium Phosphate, Egg Powder, Potassium Chloride, Yucca Schidegera Extract, Zinc Oxide, Zinc Amino Acid Chelate, Iron Sulphate, Vitamin A-Acetate, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Manganous Oxide, Vitamin E Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Copper Sulphate, Manganese Amino Acid Chelate, Copper Amino Acid Chelate, Riboflavin, Niacin, Calcium Pantothenate, Folic Acid, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Mononitrate, D-Biotin, Calcium Iodate, Sodium Selenite, Cobalt Carbonate.
  8. Thanks Smisch, I like the way you have made your hoops. Did you not find the dog maybe thought they were jumps though ? Our young guy is perfect at home & at training doing a lovely touch at the end, but in competition, he really thinks he is Superman  I think the first thing we need to do is modify our dog walk at home so the end planks are at the correct angle. A-frame he is pretty much right as we have been using the box method & have it up as much as possible when training.
  9. Same design as the Puppia ones. Only difference is the Puppia ones are twice the price plus postage
  10. Lots of different harnesses on free shipping from CleanRun at the moment. I just bought a Comfort Flex & am very happy with it. Doesn't go any where near the neck. Like this one Ultra Comfort Mesh Vest
  11. My young guy just loves to tug & will tug anywhere. He loves it so much that we have now steered away from using it as a reward for a lot of things in training as it just gets him too excited to concentrate on the task at hand, so it's mainly food rewards which he also loves but it doesn't get as excited. My girl just loves to tug but only in the loungeroom & is totally not interested in it in any other environment (I have tried, believe me), but bring out the treats & a clicker & she is all mine :) So for her, the best reward is the sight of the clicker.
  12. Has anyone ever successfully used the hoop method for teaching running contacts on the dog walk :)
  13. I wouldn't work for no pay, so why would my dog :) I certainly would expect more than a pat on the head...I think I would definitely work harder for a nice bit of chocolate than a smell of the empty box with a few crumbs
  14. No they are not always on Free Shipping, they change their page every now & then :)
  15. About two weeks sometimes less...they give you a tracking number so you can see where your parcel is.
  16. Rapid Rewards training pouch on Free Shipping from Clean Run. I have two of these & they are still as good as the day I bought them Here's the link Rapid Rewards Training Pouch
  17. Our standing on hind legs is going well...she really has the hang of it now...just have to build duration slowly. She is really trying hard to reverse back straight between my legs. If she is a bit crooked & misses, I say nothing & no click & she has another go until she gets it, then click & treat. I love watching her think. Last night she kept giving me the toy, then she would back up & I would say to her "what trick are you going to teach me...you choose" & she would offer me one of her tricks...so cute :)
  18. Evidentially, she can be inclined to do it to any strangers that encroach on the course & she will react to strangers while out walking, but only when OFF lead which is unusual. Normally a dog feels most threatened when on lead IMO. We will work on the LAT, now that I know she is also funny with strangers that will give us more opportunity to work outside of trial-like situations before bringing strangers into her training sessions.
  19. I have a lady who comes along to our monthly mock trials & she has a lovely dog, border collie, who is currently competing at Novice level in Agility Trials. She is a great little dog & is doing really well, but she has started rushing at the judge. She is not just running up to the judge to say hello, it is almost aggressive, some barking, but never teeth bared. I think she is trying to chase the judge away. It is not something she has always done, it only started about 6 months ago & her owner is at her wits end. I have been the "mock" judge a few times & I have tried not making eye contact with her but it makes no difference. I have suggested LAT & am going to work her through that over the weekend & I will also have a look through Leslie McDevitt's other stuff to see if anything may be helpful. Has anyone got any ideas on this & how it might be fixed other than LAT, which I have had lots of success with in the past, so it was the first thing that came to mind.
  20. I don't always reward in position, but I will "mark" with a clicker when she is in position. Sometimes I will reward down the seam of my pants into her mouth or I might click the position then throw the treat for the reward then hopefully she will put herself back into position. With most of my clicker work, with whatever I am teaching, I just mark the position & throw the treat, to shape her into coming back into position by her self....does that make sense
  21. Bindi has just had a breakthrough with standing on her back legs. She has just discovered that if she gives a little hop she can stay up longer. No holding her back now
  22. I found with Clean Run, that if you contact them they will often reduce the postage to a reasonable amount. But in the meantime, I have one of those Biscuit Buddies from Clean Run, that I don't use, & have probably used it once, or twice to carry a ball in. Only difference is that it is blue.. not sure what the postage would be to Vic from NSW, but if she wanted it, she could have it for $13 including postage. If that's any help :)
  23. Clean Run have collapsible target sticks on their free shipping at the moment for $8.95...would that help ??
  24. Are you using a clicker ? I started this with luring, then clicking & dropping the treat. But now I keep the treats in my pocket, just hold my hand up high & if she stays there for a couple of seconds I click & then I take a treat out of my pocket & throw it to her to catch...it doesn't matter that by the time she gets the reward she is back on the ground..it's the click that marks the position.
