  1. How come you havn't tried Comfortis yet...surely that would have been number one suggestion on your previous post :)
  2. yeah I seem to want to keep buying stuff just for the hell of it! I need a new backpack for uni so ordered one with my $35 pair of Pumas. I also ordered a drink bottle, cos ya know, you can't buy them in shops here Sometimes if you're lucky, you go back and it has gotten cheaper! Happened with my last pair of Adidas shoes. Got them for 50 bucks Oh shoot!! I only just realised that the order I placed on Monday was missing a cap that I had in my basket but it somehow disappeared without me noticing when I checked out and paid I have just emailed them to plead with them to add it to my order and send it when my currently out of stock items come in and are sent. I will be disappointed if they refuse as I don't want to pay shipping costs when I've already ordered enough to qualify for free shipping, considering I buy from them regularly and have just referred them more business! :p No such luck here...I made an order up last night (took me ages to decide on things) & sent my request in for the $8.00 voucher, which hasn't come, but in the meantime my order total has jumped by $11.00 while I have been waiting for my voucher
  3. Ruby Star you have been my downfall I am up to $154 on the Wiggle site & still going. I couldn't believe the selection of quality swimmers & the price is just unbelievable....or maybe it was just a dream & when I go back into the site everything tempting will disappear.
  4. Can't help directly trifecta. But a couple of thoughts. Have a look at the tongue label on some trainers here .. most have US and European sizes on them. Having said that, I find that sizes vary with make. And also, given that shipping from CR is very expensive (hence we get so excited about free shipping :D ) I would think it would be more cost effective to buy here - there are some great Goretex shoes available in different brands - from hiking and camping places like Mountain Designs, Snowgum, etc. etc. Try Wiggle.com.au for shoes - good prices and if you spend over $75 I think it is, free shipping I may or may not have just placed my 3rd Wiggle order in a year It's becoming my own Clean Run for human goodies! Ohhhhhhhh....RS, you are a very naughty enabler I just took a peak & they have all the Helly Hansen gear & such great prices :)
  5. My two love their game of catch the treat. No way does it teach them to snatch, quite the opposite, especially if you are a good throw & they can catch it easily without moving from the spot...depending on what you are training.
  6. She has got in touch with me, quite surprised at the Facebook Store. She gave me her website address, same as above, however, I think I will have a rethink. The shampoo is only $28, but the postage is $16
  7. I used it on old Bob (greyhound) this weekend and his coat has come up all lovely and shiny. His skin has been a bit irritated and dry but it sorted that out also. I'm a huge fan I tried to order it through her facebook shop but came up with this message " Shop Builder would like to access your public profile and friend list." & there is no way I am going to allow Shop Builder access to my profile & friends list, so is there any other way of buying it ??
  8. I would be interested to see what the Massage Book is like. I was very controlled & only ordered one tug toy, 2 of the braided rope leashes as I thought they might be good for the beach, a Freedom No Pull Harness & 2 Bait Bag Belts. There are some lovely tug toys there, but I really don't need any more
  9. Just did a bit of research & the photo is of her dogs. Well I guess I'm not going to run into one real soon....sorry now I missed seeing the one at the local show :) ETA...it would certainly be easy to find the ticks
  10. There was one at a recent NSW Nthn Rivers show, but I never got to see it.
  11. I have just been lurking on The BlackHawk Facebook Page & someone has posted a picture of their four Xoloutzcuintle dogs. I am not a fan of hairless dogs, but these guys look so hansom & regal. I wonder what their temperament is like & what genetic problems they tend to have. I think they are also called Mexican Hairless dogs. I'll see if I can download the picture Here tis :)
  12. Agree. I don't think any dog with severe allergies should be considered in a breeding program She is on breeders terms, and through discussions with the breeder it is highly unlikely that she will be bred - although as far as we are aware none of her siblings of parents have the same issues. However there haven't been any final decisions made as yet - she was last on heat about 4 months ago and the breeder didn't want to do anything at that stage. I think she will end up being spayed, and will remain with us. It may be something that goes further back than just her parents. I just had a look at the price for Frenchies.....$3,500 For that price I would be wanting something almost perfect, especially free form any thing that might be genetic. Lets hope that they decide to have her spayed & that they help you out with any continuing health issues. :)
  13. Sorry I can't help with any suggestions, but just out of interest....you said you had her on breeder's terms, does this mean that the breeder may want to breed from her in the future & if so, what is the possibilities of her problem being hereditary
  14. OK...so what did everybody buy? I have been away so havn't got into it yet, but have my eye on a few things :)
  15. Play catch with the treat, then the game becomes part of the reward....other than that, always make sure you hand him the treat with a flat hand...not held in your fingers.
  16. I was wondering the same thing Oso ... so tricky to find a true waterproof jacket in perth . Were you looking at the frog togs Toadz or tek toad? I have got the jacket & the pants & they are great, but I havn't had to wear the pants yet. The Jacket is really good value & I also got one for hubby after he tried mine on. I am fairly tall, about 5' 9" & normally a size 16. I bought the L in the jacket & XL in the pants cause I have a big bum :)
  17. Piper, I've got the Comfort flex collars for my guys & they are great...so comfortable. I also have/had two of the harnesses, till one got chewed up when I wasn't looking Another great thing they have there is the plaited lead with the bunji cord. It is really strong & great if you have a dog which may suddenly decide to lunge at a rabbit or something & pull your shoulder out of it's socket.
  18. One of them is a BIG tugger & the CR tug toys last well as long as he is not allowed free access to them as he will chew them up. I like the ones that are on a bunji (sp?) If I order something which I think "might" get held up with customs, I just order it separately :)
  19. Sorry to be an enabler :D But Clean Run have 20 pages of free shipping ATM. Unfortunately a lot are treats which we can't bring through customs, but there is also a LOT of DVD's & tug toys, harnesses etc.
  20. After I unzip it, it becomes a file folder with AirAppNxtbookLoader,cleanrun-0913-app,mimetype. When I click on the cleanrun-0913-apps which I think is supposed to be the folder that installs it on my computer, I get this <?xml version="1.0"?> -<application xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/2.5"><id>cedd2e5e6aa4802cafb2bbf3a67dbc06</id><filename>cleanrun_0913</filename><name>Clean Run - September 2013</name><versionNumber>1.0.1</versionNumber><supportedProfiles>extendedDesktop desktop</supportedProfiles><copyright>Copyright © 2013 Nxtbook Media</copyright>-<initialWindow><content>AirAppNxtbookLoader.swf</content><width>800</width><height>600</height><x>100</x><y>100</y></initialWindow><installFolder>cleanrun/cleanrun</installFolder>-<icon><image16x16>icon/airapp_16.png</image16x16><image32x32>icon/airapp_32.png</image32x32><image48x48>icon/airapp_48.png</image48x48><image128x128>icon/airapp_128.png</image128x128></icon></application> Clean Run have been no help, they think that I am just being stupid. But they have never sent it through before as a ZIP file
  21. I just downloaded the sample issue & saved it to my desktop with no problems. It didn't go as a Zip file. I have now downloaded the September issue in PDF format, but shouldn't need to do that. But thanks minimax for your help. No doubt by morning I will have another reply from CR about it & see if they can come up with something. Surely I am not the only subscriber that has received it in Zip format
  22. Are there an other DOL's here who get the Clean Run Digitally If so am I the only one who is having problems
  23. thanks minimax....just tried that & I was still left with nothing It will unzip it to a new folder, usually named the same as the zip file or wherever you specify, so you'll then end up with two folders, one zipped and one unzipped. Your file will be in the unzipped one. You have to download the file first and save it to your computer. I have found the unzipped one, but still can't open it Thanks for your help...I feel like throwing the thing out the window. Have you got Adobe Air, the program they said you need? Yep...the 3.7 version which they recommend. I have never had this problem before...always so simple.
