If thats a regular & permanent price..then you are doing well...could you give me the link please. If I could get it that cheap on a regular basis I might start giving it to my old girl again..not that she needs it, just as a preventative (help). I found it good myself...I used to sprinkle the powder on my cereal. :)

cut & paste Rose-Hip Vital® Canine is a 100% natural supplement that may be of benefit for improving the joint health and general well-being of active and ageing dogs. It’s also a powerful antioxidant, a rich source of vitamin C, and is safe, scientifically proven and registered by the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority. I've used it myself with my dog & myself for joint pain....found it really good, but too expensive

Someone just shared this on my Facebook if anybody is interested. Not sure how long the offer lasts :) For any of my FB friends (Deb) who use Rose Hip Vital for their dogs when I was at the Sydney Dog Lovers on Sunday, they had a 2 for 1 offer and have just got an email from them saying the deal is still avail. thru their website, link below, on the 150g and 500g containers. Not sure if this is a good deal price wise, but thought I'd share smile emoticon To take advantage of this offer, click on the link below & add 2 of your preferred size to your cart & use the code: DOGSHOWSYDNEY Rose Hip Vital

Video Of Kellys Dog Weaving Through Peoples Legs
sheena replied to sheena's topic in General Dog Discussion
Found it..thank you...don't know how I missed it. Facebook does some strange things sometimes  -
Someone told me there was a great Youtube going around of one of Kelly Gill's dogs weaving in & out of a line up of peoples legs. I think it may have been from the recent Dog Lovers Show. I have searched her Facebook Page & can't find it. If any one can point me to the link I would greatly appreciate it :)

These are my favourites as well :) but I have normal collars for when they are running in agility trials as these are not allowed, due to the bit that hangs down loose.

Lovely...I shared it

Violets arnt poisonous as you can eat them. I think the bottom one could be a May bush. The only ones I would be getting rid of if you were worried are the strappy leaved ones & the Lilly...not sure about the ferns

I buy mine dry from Loyalty Pet Treats. Dogs love it as a treat.

Does Your Dog Sleep Through The Night Without An Outside Trip?
sheena replied to kamuzz's topic in General Dog Discussion
My guys get fed about 8pm, then it's play/trick time, then it's outside for the final pee then into bed about 8.30. They get let back outside about 6am & we go back to bed -
That is great Most runs end in being DQ'd, but there is always something that you can look back on & say "wow" that was good :)

You are assuming that hunters actually care about what they are killing. Any hunter worth their salt does care. Most, if not all of the hunters I know are in it to assist farmers and landowners eradicate established pests from their properties. They are well trained, licensed and extremely responsible, skilled in the way of a quick, humane kill, targeting a specific area on the animal to ensure no suffering is endured. In the case of foxes, wild pigs and wild dogs, even crows, all of these are responsible for stock losses which can cost farmers significantly and puts a dent in their livelihood, not to mention the horrific maiming a lot of stock suffer due to wild dogs killing not to eat sometimes but more for amusement. Foxes and pigs as well as dogs will easily take a newborn or sometimes still being born lamb, kid or cria and maul the birthing female to boot. Ten pigs can destroy an acre of crop in half an hour, deer demolish fences and ringbark young native trees as well as disturbing stock, rabbits dig everything and where you have rabbits you have foxes, and so the cycle continues. I know what I would prefer - a quick and humane dispatching of a predator versus hefty and often torturous stock losses. There will always be degenerate yobbos who do the wrong thing but please try not to tar all of us with the same brush. I know many, many shooters who not only manage pests on properties but also keep a watchful eye out for trespassers, they fix fences/water troughs etc and report any illness or injury of stock to the landowners. Not all of us are bloodthirsty dickheads :)

That's odd...the wombat poo in Tassie is square, just over an inch in diameter & is placed in neat little piles on top of things & it is pale brown.

Nexgard...I've been using it now for over 6 months. It is a monthly tablet for fleas & paralysis ticks

Half the fun with training is how to train the dog you do have, not the dog you wish you had ...does that make sense ?? My BC girl is consistantly a fraction of a second over time in Masters Jumping, so I just have to find a way of training her to go faster  but occasionally she comes good & knocks out all the other fast BC's & kelpies in the Open Agility because she never drops a bar. At least when she does win a place in the 500's it is really something special :)
-
Not according to this person at training who was telling me about it. I think he just started adding it to her meal, like a normal serve. He has been at his wits end with his dog's red itchy feet & someone suggested this & it worked. He stopped giving it to her, to see what would happen & the red feet came back, then went again when he started feeding her the pumpkin skin again. I will ask more of him next time I see him. Just wondering if you have any more information from this person, I have a friend with a staffy who is very interested in this? Unfortnately he hasn't been back to training since then.
-
That is a really good point! Especially now with designated separate heights :) A friend and I were thinking along the same lines :) There are just tooooooo many dogs in 500. It is so hard to win a place...whereas if you have a 300 or 600 dog,if you get a clear round, you are most likely to win a prize....in the country anyway :)
-
Just Google Scat Mat. They run on batteries & when the dog jumps on it, it gives off a little static charge just like when you touch a car door handle when the wind is blowing
-
I would have like to see some evening out of the "heights" so that there are not as many dogs concentrated in the 500 category. IE put some into 400 & some into 600. Even maybe some of the 400 into 300.

Follow On From Rule Changes
sheena replied to Agility Dogs's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Personally, I would like to see all courses set with the fun & safety of the dog in mind with just a couple of challenges. I like to see my dogs have fun, not get shut down because I have to make too many call offs or sharp turns. As far as the missed contact goes....I think really the missed contact calls probably are evened out in the long run with given calls when really the dog had missed the contact. You win some..you lose some :) -
