Some of my photos are on Google...I found this out one day, simply by searching chocolate border collies. Some of the photos are from early DOL posts & others from my website. Lots of other dogs I recognise on there too. It doesn't really worry me that much. Much the same as Facebook...if you don't want the world to see it, then don't post it on the net.

Have you had a look on this link My link -
Heart worm is spread by mosquitoes, not fleas. I use Nexgard monthly for fleas & ticks & Interceptor every 6 weeks for worms & heartworm.

When you see the rubbish that dog's eat everyday, that is not a normal diet, then you wouldn't be too worried about tiny bits of plastic. I would assume they would pass straight through unless they were big enough to obstruct & then they would be quite noticeable. When I give my dogs a meaty bone out on the lawn, it gets consumed along with all sorts of foreign matter & if they decide to bury it for later.... Of course it would be much better if they wern't in the food & it's not the sort of thing I would expect to find in a top quality kibble. I always find bits of bone in VIP Chunkers which are a cooked product. I once found a rat's tail in a Snowy River meat pie

Years ago I bought a pet one from Big W & I think it was a Breville. It had a twelve month warranty on it, so when the first one packed it in, they gave me another...thought it was good value, so maybe you could check out Big W.

Getting Rid Of Urine Smell On Pavers/concrete
sheena replied to Animal House's topic in General Dog Discussion
I took the Clinikill back to the store as the safety precautions one had to take, plus the fact that it all had to be washed off after it dried, put me off it. It was completely different to the Clinikill that I googled, that is available in New Zealand. I ended up mixing up some Canestan Laundry rinse, which interestingly enough has the same active ingredient as Valuplus Stable disinfectant. I gave all my decks & kennels a good spray & also did an old lounge that they like to lie on. When I had finished, everything had a nice clean laundry smell :) Later, someone come along & was patting the dogs & said "I can smell cow manure" The smell could be coming from the various gumboots laying around or the night time activity of the bats. I am finding my sense of smell dwindling as I get older -
A link to an old article on Sticky Dog Syndrome My link

Actually, when she gets focused on rounding up other dogs, chances are, that it is true...she can't hear you. It's called "sticky dog" syndrome, & you get it mainly in working breeds & they get so focused on what they are doing, that they switch over to the other half of their brain & they literally, can't hear you. I have a BC that has this syndrome & the way I manage it with her, is to play LAT with her The Look at That Game I also don't let her run with other dogs except our other BC.

Bunnings have high wall dog enclosures, which I think would be 4 x 4 & probably 1.8 to 2 mets tall.

Yep. We're currently looking at rural properties and the plan is to fence off a house yard with Colourbond. Not sure why you would want a solid colourbond fence. I think it's great that our dogs have the pleasure of being able to see out through our fence at all the interesting stuff that's going on around the farm. We often say to each other .....wouldn't it be boring for them if they lived in surburbia & had nothing but a colourbond fence to look at all day. A few reasons. They will be allowed on the whole property when with us. The fenced in area would only be used for if they are outside unsupervised which would only be for short periods. They're normally inside on the couch anyway. I want a solid fence for some privacy as when I say rural there are still a couple of other houses within sight. I also have an ASD who barks at everything so I want his sight restricted to an extent when unsupervised outside. Oh OK then :) We are so lucky that we have unrestricted views & privacy. I just couldn't imagine being rural & still having to be looking at a solid fence. We are also lucky that our dogs don't bark although they will do the odd bit of fence running if a cow comes too close, but that doesn't happen often.

What a lovely photo...sounds like she is going well

We are on a farm, but if we didn't contain our dogs, they could be wander, chase the cows & wildlife & could easily get themselves shot by an irate neighbour. We have our house yard fenced with dog wire 900mm with a hot wire running around the top. They have never tried to get out that we know of. We have the yard divided into two, with pool fencing, so we can keep them contained to either house yard.

Is this the first time in two years that the dog has been on regular walks or has the behaviour been with him for two years, or in the last two years was he OK on his REGULAR walk. In other words has he always been rugulary walked in the past or is walking new to him

I couldn't get the Equinade so they have ordered me in Clinnikill. We are thinking now that the smell may be coming from the hundreds of flying foxes that have chosen our trees to visit every night. Still it wont hurt to give everything a good clean -

Will keep you up to date. I am thinking I might put it in a large garden sprayer & spray the decking & kennels. I wonder if you can use it to spray cushions or carpet etc. as some of those ones you buy in the supermarket for indoors smell horrible. -

According to their website..Petstock have this in stock. I am off there tomorrow to see if I can buy some. I washed my deck down with Phenol & now it & the dogs smell like cow poo -
I had considered this. I just wish she'd do it when I need her to!!! She's lucky she's so loved, she's the only one who gets walked around and over when she's in the way, everyone else has to move themselves!!! This is my guess. Maybe you could put it on cue, after all it is a very good exercise for her & I always teach my dogs to use their rear end :)

Don't ask me..read the article, but I would guess it is because the dogs go & stay at their place & the whole thing is organised by the one governing body which operates the same way as Airbnb does & is worldwide.
