No worries...I found them..what size did you get for your BC's??
-
Nice...where did you get those from ??

I ended up getting 6 beach towels & after I put in the promo code, I got six towels for $127 & free postage...one towel each for the dogs plus one on the car seat Dock and Bay
-
I was thinking more of using it to dry off my dogs when we are camping or at home after they have been in the pool. Probably not all that many times I would use it in the car. Can any one recommend a really good quality mf towel?? These bags are $99 each plus $16.50 postage, so if I could get a couple of towels made out of the same stuff.
-
Did they work the way they described??? Any trouble washing the bags, as I imagine if not washed regularly they would start to smell.

I bought a Ruffware DoubleBack for my BC http://k9pro.com.au/doubleback-dog-harness-by-ruff-wear/ Because of it's belly strap, it was the only harness I could find that he couldn't slip over his head while in the car. It lasted well until one day he chewed through it Now he just gets attached by a collar & chain.

why?...because I call a spade a spade? Not at all; you come in boots and all and are so forceful with your answers that, I for one, skip over your posts as they are frequently worded to be hurtful and humiliating A pity as you may have posted some pertinent, interesting info which I would miss out on when I skip your posts; because of the likelihood of feeling bullied and stupid. Yes I agree ...I find him a "bit" Extreme & don't bother reading his post any more. I agree with the others that the best time to desex is after the dog has matured. Also, if you intend to compete in any of the ANKC disciplines then your dog will need to be desexed unless you have papers from the breeder to show it is registered on either mains or limited.

Yeah...way too far away for me, but might suit Willem. Shame because I really like the ADAA courses.
-
I doubt very much if these people are willing to go down that track...but thanks anyway. The nearest place for sheep herding from here is about 4 hours drive away. FWIIW...where do they hold ADAA trials in NSW apart from the Grand Prix & Sydney. ??

...that's interesting...especially if you want to compete with a Golden Retrievers where the risk of ligament injuries is dramatically increased for de-sexed dogs....it is not required if I register my dog with ADAA (TBC)...?... Not sure with ADAA, but to compete in ADAA competitions you will need to travel to Queensland ...with the Grand Prix excepted as that is held in Tamworth once a year. But I know that until your dog is desexed you will not be able to register it with ANKC. As far as Golden Retrievers go, they can't compete until they are 18 months old & by then they would probably be desexed. There are ADAA competitions in NSW :) Some breeds that have an alternate registry to ANKC can go on the Sporting Register and not need to be desexed to compete in sports. Eg Kelpies registered with WKC, Koolies registered with the Koolie club. I think there are a few sheepdog registeries too, which register on merit/ability rather than pedigree, so Willem could get a BC on Sporting Register through there if his dog had ability on sheep. Not up my way there isn't  So to register your dog on the working dog register, I would have thought that you would still have had to have bought that dog from a WDR breeder & that it would come with WDR papers. Sorry to hijack the thread but I have a new dog in my class at agility. He is an 18 month old backyard bred BC...lovely dog but definately no papers. The owners didn't even know the correct name for his colour....they thought he was a golden BC. He is entire, simply because the owner thinks it's sissy to desex your male dog. I am going to have to break the news to them, that if they want to compete in ANKC sports, then he is going to have to be desexed.

I confess...I have not read through all of this post, so sorry if it has been mentioned before....but one good reason for having your dog desexed is that unless it is Registered with an ANKC recognised body, then it can't compete in ANKC dog sports as it needs to be desexed before it can go on the Associate Register & it needs to be on the AR before it can compete.

nah, the cows are actually bulls :D ....but we getting closer.... Are you sure...did you look....very unusual to have so many bulls in the one paddock
-
This has me a little confused....if the dog was bred by a backyard breeder, then how could it be registered
-
As instructors...when we have beginner classes in agility, we carry a golf umbrella...never had to use it yet, thank goodness.

Just make sure you include the cooked skin...great for keeping fungal infections away as well as the nutrients

This happened with my last BC girl...very sad & it all happened within less than six months. She went deaf as well as having bad dementia & losing control of her bodily functions. The day we arranged for the vet to come & give her her wings, she went walkabout. Just when we were getting used to the idea, that she had decided to find herself a lovely place somewhere in the bush that she loved, to die, she turned back up (followed the smell of a neighbour's motorbike)

Poodle With Itchiness - Tried Everything
sheena replied to NatalieC's topic in General Dog Discussion
A person I know whose dog gets red itchy feet, keeps it at bay by feeding her cooked pumpkin skins. I would imagine that in her case it could be a fungal problem, hence the reason why it responds to pumpkin skins. -

Also plastic food bowls can do this too...& should be avoided -
Could you try giving her an antihistamine before she goes to bed & see if that makes any difference?? It sounds like a bad case of reverse sneezing to me.
-
Is it reverse sneezing by any chance . If it is then I fixed my girl with a cetrizine tablet when she got it bad. With my girl, I think it is to do with pollen/dust etc in the air.

I have been feeding it now ever since it was launched in the plain white bags & I havn't noticed any change...my dogs still love it & are doing well :)
