Is Orijen the only dry food without grains?
-
I go to the Marsden Vet. That's about 20 minutes drive. The women who work at the desk, the vet nurses(?), are fantastic. I see them more often than I see the vets but I don't have any complaints about them either. Hopefully someone can suggests something closer if that is what she is after.

Someone Tried To Feed My Puppy Cheese~
Jey replied to Gerda the Schnauzer's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I wouldn't feed whole cheese cubes. I slice mine into tiny cubes or you can even grate it. Remember to include treats in their daily food ration and not on top of it. -
They'd still have to do a report, I'm sure.

"During the healing exercise Jazz ran out of the ring to say hi to my sister" That is totally brilliant!

Which Vegies Are Ok To Blend Up For A Dog?
Jey replied to jenz0r's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I take it back. I just broke the bloody thing. Both attachments. I'm trying to see if I can replace them but if not am looking at second hand food processors. I only broke them because I am stupid but am hesitant to recommend something that breaks that easy. If you've already ordered it let me know and I'll explain how I broke it so you don't make the same mistake! -

http://www.oo.com.au/Multi_Purpose_Blender...cc_P8145C93.cfm I bought this recently. It's a bit small and you have to be patient but it mushes raw veggies very very well. Blenders generally aren't for liquifying solid objects, but this works and I can't afford a shiny food processor right now. -
K9 Force Coming To Queensland
Jey replied to Steve K9Pro's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
I may or may not stay and come the whole weekend, depending on costs. If I can't afford accommodation I'll only come for one day because it's a hefty drive each way. I shalln't be bringing my dog - unless there is HUGE improvement btw now and then, but unlikely - so happy to share room. -

Which Vegies Are Ok To Blend Up For A Dog?

Go easy on your starchy vegies: potato and corn. And sugary ones: carrot. Most vegies are fine though. The green leafy ones are best, but a variety of diff vegies is important. -

I believe garlic is great for the immune system. -
oooh there's this snazzy little calculator that helps you work it out: http://www.raw4dogs.com/calculate.htm

That's a particularly harsh thing to say when this person is clearly upset. You could have at least phrased it more delicately.

You're best off searching the threads on here. Do a topic heading/thread search, rather than a post search in the advance options. If you know how.

Is Bundaberg near Gympie? I know someone in Gympie who may be able to help with training. -
'The BARF Diet' is a great read. My local library had a copy, maybe yours does too?

Can dried tuna and hoki be purchased in the Asian section of the grocery store?

Was meaning to ask about this soon too. Wasn't too keen on carrying around raw meat. Thanks all

Let us know how you go.

A few small design kinks, but looking good.

I think another post by you Molasseslass put me onto Canine Country, and for that I want to say thank you! The $1.50 chicken frames = three meals! It's made our transition to BARF a little easier. Now we just need a bigger freezer!
-
Yes, Cheekcairn. We're certainly not having a go at you and the article was interesting to read. The fact that I could find so many flaws on it even though I've only read one small book on BARF helped me reaffirm what I've learned in the last few weeks. So thanks for the article.

Ooh, best be checking if my dog is eating them.
