Hi was hoping for some ideas for names for my litter it was such a hot day when they were born, so was looking for names to do with Hot. Please help me have 2 females and 4 Males.

Hi All Well it is looking really good for the second girl she now has a ball for a belly. I do not get my girls scaned as we live in a small country town with only one vet and I did get a girl scaned two yars ago and the vet could not tell me yes or no on day 61 what a wast of money that was.

Hi All Well it is not looking good for the litter due the 1st January looks like she has missed again I will have to hope the other girl due 15 January comes throw for me.

Hi All ;) Well I have now got the problem sorted out with posting on the Forum. So just wanted to say thank you to Rottsup for helping me with this. Hope January is a good time for all of us who are having litter. My first litter is due the 1st Jaunuary it ;) is a litter as she is a very hard girl to mate. I am hoping to keep a female pup from this litter, but one never knows with this girl. My second litter is due 15th January to my youngest pair this will be there first litter, I can not wait to see what they have :p

Puppies now 1 week old and are getting stronger. Mum doing good starting to eat more, have got the fenugreek and now putting that on food to help her milk.

Took mum and pups to vets, they said mum had not temp just not much milk gave her something to stimulate her to eat more which has worked a treat. Gave the two weakest pups some fluid under the skin. Overnight all are doing much better . Thanks all.

The puppies are 5 days old, they were born naturally, she has milk but I am not sure on how much, mum is well but just will not eat as much as she normaly does. This littler of pups seam to be quiter. Mum has not been on antibiotics. Not to sure about the hydration of pups. Have been giving them some Nutrigel to try and help them and some bottle.

Have a litter of 6 cocker pups and they just do not seem to be doing as well as my last litters, having a problem with getting mum to eat much she will only eat a little, She has had litters in the past and both have done well. Does anyone have and ideas??

Do you all have a vet do the AI or can you do it yours self if you have the male ?

She does swell but i was thinking maybe it is not at the right angle as well.

I am a reg breeder and yes she is just what you want from a breed bitch. I live in the middle of Aus and there is only 1 vets here and he has had a look at her and can't find anything wrong. She stands he tryes a lot. Not sure if the tied the time she had a litter did not see it. I do have a new stud but will have to wait till he is of age to see if this helps. Thanks for your comments

I have a 5 year old cocker spaniel who has had 1 litter 2 years ago, It took 3 seasons to get her to mate she stands very nice and the male is the same one. He has had 3 litter with a different female and is the 1 she mated with, I then gave her a year off and have tryed to mate her the next two seasons no good Has anybody got any ideas?
