I love your shots Leena - they're amazing. what do you shoot on? Last I heard, you were using a point and shoot? Either way, you have a brilliant eye! And Mow is a pretty lazy cat - I don't really do anything to make him sit still but he only has 2 speeds, slow and not moving at all unless it's zoomie time. I am currently using a Panasonic DMC-TZ11 Lumix. If you take it off auto and mess with some of the settings you can get some pretty decent images. That and the awsomeness that is PhotoShop Mow sounds to sweet. My lot use the house as a race track (their favourite game is lava floor, run as fast as possible without touching the ground) -

JS, thanks, the mask was a gift from my Dad when he went to Mardi Gras in New Orleans years and years ago, I love it. Also your ice shot is fantastic! Shell, Mow is so pretty, how in the hell do you get him to sit still? My cats roll around and try to touch the camera Here is mine for today, seriously lazy but its way to hot right now. I agree with you Mim, looks pure (badly bred) but pure all the same. Cute little thing.

If you are worried about him over heating have you thought about getting a cool bed? My little Sammie girl feels the heat badly and loves her cool bed, sorts her right out in now time. Also something he might enjoy is one of those little clam shell pools. He would have a ball digging and splashing around in one.

lots of dogs dig in their water bowls, Spitz breeds are common offenders. Some grow out of it, others dont. As for how much he is drinking..... No healthy dog will allow itself to become dehydrated provided there is always water avaliable to them. You dont want him to drink huge amounts at once after exercise, that can lead to bloat, smaller drinks more often are good for him. How much do you expect him to be drinking anyway? If you are really worried measure out the water you give him (you will have to find a way to secure it so he cant spill it) and record in the evening, talk to your vet if you think it is too little, they will advise you if its healthy or not.

I am so sorry RIP little man -
I have stood in front of my own dogs and roared at the attacking dog, got its attention long enough to get my dog out of the way and kick the attacker. Yes there was a good chance I was going to get bitten but I didn't think about it at the time. Also I agree with PF I don't think there are Jindo's here, are you sure it was one? Because it sounds like you had a run in with an Akita But you must report this, the guy sounds like a total wan*%er

Do You Train Your Dogs Equally?
Bjelkier replied to Bubitty's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
No I don't Lestat is easy to teach but very lazy, he has very good manners anyway so I leave him be most of the time. We do a little refreash every now, maybe a new trick or two and then but thats about it. Mistral and Alchemy need a lot more work as they do more ie: shows and obediance and they are a different breed which requires a firmer hand. Mist and Allie get about the same training each day.
