Bad Problem With My Chow... Would Like Some Opinions
Bjelkier replied to spirrall's topic in Puppy Chat
Hmmm dosn't sound too good. If you are in contact with the breeder would you be able to see the parents eye certs? (I would be curious more then anything else) Secondly I would be getting a second oppion. I'm not saying that your vet might be dodgy, I just think when it comes to possible issues like this it's always better to have a second oppinion. -
I use OMG when grooming the Samoyeds, works wonderfully

A candle will be lit at our place too -
I'm starting to think that this is problem with Bundy's coat , maybe I need to get a new dryer It may help. Also it might have something to do with the shampoo you are using. Mistral has a few yellow spots and certain shampoos make them so obvious! Here is the link to the dryer I have http://www.libertyinternational.com.au/dryers.html

Wow two hours! I can get both of mine done in about 40 mins and one of those is a full coated male!

Hamish at West Queanbeyan, he is a fantastic vet, very caring and does a great job

I am using a Liberty Ultra Force on my fluffy monsters and it is amazing. The amount of time I need to get them dry is so short and it fluffs them up beautifully. Its amazing what a good dryer does. The awesome thing about this dryer is that you can easily get it fixed if it breaks down. Not sure about stands, I think you can get them but you would have to check. Mine is very light so I see no reason to get a stand, the hose is long enough that I can easily get around the dog without moving it too. Prolonged heat is bad for the coat, it will make it go yellow and dry out in the most awful way, believe me I've seen it and it takes a very long time to get rid off.

You need to come tell that to some Sibes I know, one little monster dosn't stop barking! :D LOL Wolfsong I haven't met many who can bark! Micha tries SO HARD to bark, he tries to copy Cherry and Daisy, but it just comes out as this pathetic shortened howl Oh poor Micha Next time I see this dog I'll film it. I'll admit I never thought they were barkers until I came across these dogs, this one in particular. Maybe someone needs to remind him he's a Sibe :D -

Mine keep changing. I use to have a really long list of dogs that I loved and thought I would like. Since I started showing I have had the pleasure of meeting many of those beloved breeds and have since learnt that although I love the look or personality I could never live with them So my current list is: Samoyed (currently own) Bullmastiff Norwegian Elkhound Afghan Hound Finnish Lapphund Havanese (all thanks to BMP's beautiful Magic ) Dogue De Bordeaux Alaskan Malamute American Stafford Borzoi Japanese Spitz

In addition to the PM I sent you, try swapping the paracord for a light check chain. It made the world of difference to Alchemy who was doing the same thing.

I love this thread :p I have been right outside the ring waiting to go in off in my own little world, meanwhile the steward to calling, looking right at me And the day at Wagga Wagga, the ground was so muddy. As I was walking too the ring my ass of a Samoyed decided he didn't have to behave and suddenly lunged forward causing me to stumble and then skid almost the whole way to the ring entrance, such a smooth way to start out . (BMP might remember that one :p )

Sounds like a cheeky little monkey. Hopefully the sibe cluns will be able to help you out. He's beautiful

What kind of training have you done to stop this so far? And photos of Sibe pups are always required
