Bjelkier replied to poodlefan's topic in General Dog Discussion
LOL, I feel like that at most shows. Must go buy wellies this weekend just in case..... I finally bought some on sale lastweek at Target, I figured it was going to get wet and muddy soon. Black with rainbow sparkles, totally a fashion statement . . . . . ;) -

Tell me about it, white dog + mud/rain = bad That and I nearly fell over myself running around the ring! It's days like that I wish I had a breed I could walk with -
If you arn't happy definatly find someone else. I ran into a trainer awhile back who told me spitz breeds where impossible to train and I should give up now Not a good attitude to have in a trainer.

My OH told me I was in season once I also told my boss that I was going to the vets instead of the GP when I was ill ;)

I get that itch less and less these days. I love puppies but adults are soooo much easier and I know enough people that puppy breath is never really hard to get Now its more like, when a bitch I'm after a puppy from comes it, hopefully not too close to the last pup I got. But you can just never tell with the girls. I will have another baby girl ( ) before the end of the year (planned litter, not planned timing)
-
Poor little mite, I hope she is ok. I don't know how helpful this is but have you thought of getting her seen by a Chiro, maybe the stomach tucked, the back hunched is something they could fix?
-
Puppies as short a time as possible. I will take a few weeks of when the new girl shows up but then its back to 6-8 hours a day. The adults are the same but they can cope if I go out of a night (I will go home first and feed them, then it's back int he kennels) but I don't like to do it. If I am going to a weekend show, those dogs who stayed behind have our neighbours come over and visit with them in the morning and evening.

Does Your Dog/pup Have A Specific Object

Mistral is a sock killer, only this last time the socks rose up and took him out instead. Over a thousand dollars later and the offending sock is now incase so it can't attack him again. Lestat, soft toys. He has stuffing lust, it's very similar to blood lust. The moment he see's a smallest bit of stuffing he gets this crazed look in his eye and lunges, pulling all the stuffing out as fast as possible. Alchemy, she is my good child. Aside from sneaking into the kitchen when I cook dinner she dosn't do anything wrong -
Poll- How Many Dogs And If You Work Full Time
Bjelkier replied to jazawayaya's topic in General Dog Discussion
OH and I work full time and we have three dogs. -
I think they do. Every time I have been away Mistral will give me the cold shoulder for a few days after
-
Definatly smaller and firmer and I have pretty big dogs so its a great help I have since moved to the Lamb and Rice one simply because they like the taste a little more and they are older now But both are great though.

I'm so sorry Winterpaws Run Free Tina

I feed it to my dogs and love the brand, it's been the only food that has kept weight on my boy. They look better then they ever have.
-
I feed turkey necks, lamb necks, lamb flaps and whole beef marrow bones (not the kind they saw down the middle)
-
Mine all have carrot to chew occasionally. One of the dogs just likes to chew it and spit the pieces out, I end up with munched carrot all over the floor and orange stains are not good for a white show dog I always supervise them however as they can choke. Personally I like to give bones more then carrots.
-
I've had dogs who are vaccinated get KC a few times. It's just one of those things, I have a vet actually who dosn't like to vacc against it as he strongly believes it does nothing at all and the other vet in the same clinic swears by it.

Ready To Welcome A Puppy Into The Home Too!

Hmmm methinks it's time to check out Castle Hill There is a very good chance I will cruise up to Sydney with Miss Alchemy (maybe Mistral but we shall see, he's a bit of a tool sometimes and he's not feeling the best atm) but I would love to see everyone again, it's been awhile. -
I'm sort of taking this (sorry belgian) but why do some people care if their dog cocks it's leg?
-
No, they very well might cock their leg regardless of when they are desexed. I know an entire male, never cocks his leg and I know an entire bitch who cocks hers. EDT wording
