  1. I really like the second one of Kuma
  2. I dont have experiance with dog walkers or pet sitters around here but have you thought of asking his breeder to take him for the time you are away? The breeder of our dogs has done it for us a few times and its been a huge help.
  3. Couple more from me. Mistral Alchemy By the way can anyone help me with Flikr, I can't figure out how to get photos from there to here since it was changed
  4. If your not looking at bringing in new lines and thins dog would just be a pet importing from Italy would be a bit of a waste IMO. Unless you have a lot of money to burn you would be best of getting onr from Australia, the dog could come over at a younger age, no need for quaretine and it would be vastly cheaper.
  5. Wow, pretty. So they arn't easy to get or do breeders not like the colour and try to aviod it for health reasons? I've never seen one before.
  6. So would that be classed as an albino type thing? Yes it is. If the dog just has blue eyes it's not albino, total lack of pigment in the nose, eyes and mouth it is then classed albino. Read here http://www.samoyedhealthfoundation.org/dis...artial-albinism
  7. Out of curiosity, do these apply to breeds where those colours are common? Example being my Black labs, would they be more susceptible to certain kinds of cancer? Or is it only the case in breeds where the colour is rare/disqualified? Or Samoyeds, are they more su susceptible to deafness ect? Apparently the cancer link goes across breeds for black dogs. Rottweillers are noted as being more susceptible to parvo as a breed. Can't say about Samoyeds but Westies get skin issues noted in health issues for the breed. However they will chew up and swallow everything and anything, which leads to bowel obstructions which leads to surgery which leads to expensive vet bills Ain't that the truth
  8. I really should get out there and take some more but the weather is vile at the moment. ANyway here are a few. ALchemy Mistral Sorry for the poor quality, Photobucket destorys photos

    Help!

When my brother was 4 he was bitten by our Golden Retriever bitch who was only a puppy of about 9 months at the time. The reason, he messed with her food bowel while she was eating. She only bit him on the hand but she still bit him, he was unable to understand that when she growled it meant go away and she backed that threat up. The point is this bitch was usually calm, kind, tollerant and very good with children. She had simply had enough of trying to defend her meal from my brother.
  17. Biscuit Samoyed We are allowed to have white and biscuit dogs here but not full biscuit
  18. Lab's are not born trained, yes that's right you do have to put some effort in yourself And no, it's not impossible to keep the Samoyed clean and I dont bath them every week.
  19. Oh I'm so sorry ID Run free beautiful girl
  20. Mostly carpet and tiles. The house is only four years old and whatever carpet they put in cleans up really easily although there are already doggie footprints in some areas thanks to the mud outside :D but that cleans up easily. We did live in a place with slate and that was wonderful!
