Mr Bjelkier loves all our dogs. He was really upset when he missed Dantes first show and is also upset that he will miss Dante's first show out of Baby Puppy. He even asked a friend to film it so he dosn't miss too much. God help anyone who speaks badly of his Samoyeds. Its really very sweet.

They told me when I asked if they had any other dogs. Apparently they do have a yard but I wonder if its actually fenced. Thanks for the input guys. Helps me a lot to know other people are thinking the same thing.

You have pretty much voiced all my concerns and opinions SSM. I was told the dog would get as much exercise as needed but I wasn't too sure about that answer, seems a bit to general to me.

My Samoyeds sound like Chewy when they talk. That kind of sound is pretty common in some Spitz breeds.

So I am planning our first litter for later on in the year and we have been getting puppy enquireies for quite awhile now. I recently got a puppy enquiry that I am not 100% sure about, I don't know if I'm being a little too judgemental or suspecious. This person is after a male puppy from me and they already have their name down for a female from another breeder which is currently about 3 weeks old. Now this person says they are willing to desex the pup but I wonder. I am also worried about two young dogs around the same age in a house of four children. The dogs apparently have to toilet inside as well. Would you be comfortable selling one of your pups to live in this situation?

Lestat use to sleep on our bed but he seems to triple in size during the night and steals the doona so he now sleeps on his own bed. Alchemy sleeps at the foot of the bed, she curls up into a little ball and stays there all night. Mistral and Dante will come to bed with us but they always get off after a little while, they get way too hot. But when we go camping they snuggle in with us in one big pile.

Because you obviously have an issue with how the dog behaves. You wont move out of home, your aunt wont do anything about it so if you have an issue do something yourself instead of bitchng about it.

How Much Does Being On Heat Affect A Dog?
Bjelkier replied to naughtynanna's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I was about to say the same thing. My bitch gets moody and a little more fearful then usual but never like what you mentioned. -
My dogs breeders have taught me how to groom.

I worked with a few vets and nurses who where very anti reg breeders. One of them was a breede herself, of 'oodles' Thankfully my current vet is pro pedigree.

I agree with Poodlefan and the others, it annoyed me. Yes it was sweet how much he loved his dog and yes I cried at the end of the movie (then going home and hugging my Lab) but it was painful to watch.

OMG I am so sorry! RIP Brock.

Yes I meant a dog dryer

Line combing and using a slicker and a comb keep my dogs free of grass seeds. Also when the seeds are really bad I go over them once a week with a high powered blower.

What Would Your Dog Sound Like If It Could Talk?
Bjelkier replied to a topic in General Dog Discussion
Lestat would sound like a grumply old man Mistral is a bit of a ditzy boy who would talk really fast. Alchemy has a deep, sultry, husky voice Yngvie is Polish so naturally he has a polish accent Dante is still a baby but he would be well spoken and would have a deep voice. -

Mistral, Alchemy, Ynvgie and Dante agree with the girls. -
Wanted to talk to other dog owners when I got my first pedigree puppy.

Mine all get Ice Cream from time to time, they also enjoy a odd jelly lolly or sausage McMuffin

Story Naki’o is the first dog to be fitted with a complete set of bionic legs that work naturally to allow him to run, jump and even swim. The prosthetics were designed and fitted in a pioneering procedure by Martin Kaufmann, founder of Orthopets. Abandoned by a family fleeing their foreclosed home and their mother dead, Naki’o and his brothers and sisters barely survived the harsh Nebraskan winter. Weakened by malnourishment, the red heeler puppy stepped into an icy puddle in the basement and got his four paws stuck in freezing water. At just five weeks old the litter was taken to an animal rescue center. Under the shelter’s care Naki’o's paws, lost to severe frostbite, healed to rounded stumps. Veterinary technician Christie Tomlinson was on the look out for a playmate for her Jack Russell terrier mix Poki when she came across Naki’o. Fearful of the pain that walking and playing with other dogs would cause, Naki’o resigned himself to crawling along on his belly at home and at the veterinary clinic’s doggy daycare. Christie organized a fundraiser to pay for Naki’o to have his two back legs fitted with prosthetics. He took to these so enthusiastically, that Orthopets decided to complete the process free of charge. It was the first time they’d fitted an animal with a complete set of new legs. At first walking on all four prosthetics was challenging, but Naki’o adapted quickly, learning how to use the devices as though they were his natural legs. After just a few days he was running and bounding. The prosthetics are built to mimic the muscle and bone of dog limbs, allowing them to do everything a normal dog would do. Christie is amazed at her pet’s motivation and joy for life. “Naki’o can now not only chase after a ball with other dogs, but he can beat them to the catch!”

Did you get him from a registered breeder?
-
Yes it is perfectly normal that she only had one pup. I second what RSG and CW EW said, if your vet isn't a specialist, see one before you make any decisions!

Awwww thats really sweet.
