I'd be surprised if it was KC. He's showing no other symptoms.

First off I will say that he will be heading into the vet soon, I'm just wondering if someone might have some ideas about what is happening. My 10 mpnth old Samoyed has started making the occasional weird snorting sounds and every now and then he sounds like a person trying to breath with a running nose. It dosn't seem to happen all the time, in fact most of the time he's fine. There is no nasel disharge and he's not struggling to breath, it's not effecting his ability to be active its just a bizzare sound. It dosn't quite seem like reverse sneezing. Any ideas?

We have three Samoyeds and a Lab. All the Sammys are entire and they get along great. The Lab is desexed and although he will play withe the Sams on occasion he has very little interest in them and would rather sleep all day.

I know someone who was charged $5000 for a Tibetan Mastiff, pedigree. I don't think they are that much anymore but they arn't cheap to buy.

Not meaning to derail the thread, but how do you enforce this. Seperating the dogs if they are mouthing? I read the post to mean the puppy was biting people not other dogs, I could have missed something, I was very stressed the other day. I dont care if dogs mouth each other. If the dog is biting people becuae its hyped up and being a silly puppy that wont listen (we call them red cordial moments) it gets growled at and put in the puppy pen until it calms down. Worked for all my dogs.

I've waited 5 weeks for one of my dogs but they got lost and 4 weeks for my bitches scores. The story however sounds a bit dodgy.

I can't really help much but Nutro was fantastic for my allergy dog. I just wanted to say your dog has the best name :D

Mine are put outside when they go silly and run their maddness off out there. It's usually just zoomies though, biting is not tollerated in this house and they would be put in a time out to calm them down if they did that.

No, I would have very little interest in going. However I do think it is a good idea on the whole provided the person talking knew what they were talking about.

I use them on the Samoyeds and I'm very happy with them.

I cut all my dogs nails myself. They are trained from the moment I get them home to except it.

Bjelkier is the original name of the Samoyed. It means white that breeds white.

I've never had to convince my OH, he just seems to go with the flow, bless him ;) He's so into the whole showing thing now that when we made the decision not to breed our bitch the first thing he asked me was, 'where are we get our new girl from?' He's a good boy

Our boy was at Eastern Creek earlier this year and I was very happy with how it all went. He was brought out in summer unfortunatly and being a coated breed we were worried about how it would all go but the staff took excellent care of him during his stay. I would be happy to use them again. And if you canät get there to spend time with the dog yourself you can pay to have someone come and groom and walk your dog.

I have been all over Canberra looking for a vet I actually like when my current Vet told me he was about to retire. Thankfully I have now found one who I think is great and is much closer.

I have a list of Pedigree and Pet names all worked out for our next show girl who should be arriving some time next year. I just don't know from which litter yet

I'm the same. I just love to show and I have picked up some really great tricks for getting my own dogs to show better by taking other breeds.

Broke my heart and had me in tears every time. I actually dealt better with my own animals being PTS then a clients, not too sure why.

I know Jacqueline had a Samoyed and a Beagle but I don't know any others.

Mistral picked us, when Mr Bjelkier picked him up he cried when he tried to put him down so we decided he was meant to be with us. Turned out to be a nice show dog too. All the others I picked because they had/have lovely confirmation.

Me either, my girl is on main register and cost the same as all the others. I didnt pay extra for any of my Main Reg dogs either nor would I sell Main Reg pups for more.

I should cheer for NSW but VIC is a Sammy girl, so gooo VIC ;)
