I should have explained it better when I said it before but Samoyeds should never be clipped (except in health related cases naturally), their coat isn't like that of a poodle or such breed and it's dosn't grow back well. For breeds that have coat that grows back well I have no issues with fancy clipping and colouring, I think it's cute. I'm glad he was happy, most Samoyeds are, they love attention.

How long is she away for at a time? Weeks? Months? I wouldn't sell her one, it would be a very unsettled life for a puppy. I would suggest she is very honnest with her breeder and not lie about the situation her puppy goes into. It will cause all kinds of issues further down the track if the breeder finds out, I for one, would be furious if I found out someone had lied to me like that.

I know I'm being a downer but it annoys the hell out of me. Poor dog.....his coats going to be a hot mess now and it's going to be harder for him to regulate his body temp now because his owners think it cute

Phew! Glad it worked out well. Healing vibes to poor Matilda. Thank you :D COngrats Thank you Miss B Puppies are doing very well this morning, all feeding happily (Miss Silver is always on the boob! :laugh: ) Matilda is also doing great.

Matilda had 5 beautiful puppies by C-section at mid day today. 2 girls and 3 boys, mum and pups are home and doing great. Matilda had a twisted uterus and thankfully we got her in on time and didn't loose her or and puppies Talk about an interesting first litter! I am so so so glad my mentor was down here to help and we had another breeder on speed dial and a wonderful vet.

Well Matilda's temp dropped earlie today and she started goin into the first stage of labor at about 8.30. It's going to be a long night.

Zac took a liking to your hubby at Goulburn....I could see him covered in blue fuzz in the future If they didn't make me sneeze (shorted coated dogs in general not just ACD) I'd say there was a good chance of that. He said Zac is an awesome dog :D

Obviously favourite dog breed is a Samoyed :laugh: Although I love love love Havanese and OES. What would suit me least? A cross breed, I have no interest in them, I like to know what I'm getting myself into.
