Stress its urgent. Otherwise it coudl be a while. Yeah, I will. Last time I tried to get in to see them I was told I had to wait close to two weeks. Hence seeing the other person. Do you know if they are open weekends?

I'd be asking for a revisit. Did Sandra see him? No it wasn't Sandra I suggest you book him in to see her ASAP. Thanks, I'll see when I can see her

I've used this Chiro for over a year and I've never had an issue before. I also know a lot of other people who use them and they've all been very happy.

Hi guys One of my dogs started limping on his front right leg recently and we were able to get him in to see the chiropractor on Wednesday. He was out in the left hip and right shoulder. He was adjusted and given an anti-inflammatory and sent on his way. Apparently we didn't need to do anything special with him like crate rest or keeping him quiet, all that was said was that we should take him back next week for a check up. We did make sure he was kept quiet however, he's only a young dog. Two days later and he's still very lame and now the stiffness is in his back left leg as well and I've just noticed he's quite swollen in that area. Has anyone ever had this issue after seeing a chiro before? He' a 4 month old puppy and I'm very worried

That doesn't read like someone with a good attitude to me. I'm only a few years older then yourself and I've just bred my first litter. I've been in my chosen breed for around the same amount of time but I have been involved with show dogs for longer then that and one day I would like to become a judge but I don't think I am anywhere near ready to get out in that ring and start judging other peoples breeding at the moment. As others have said, get in there and do the hard work yourself. I don't think anyone would want the opinion of a judge who has never been in there and done it themselves.

I'd never go back to a 1 dog house. I currently have 5, two being 4 month old litter mates and it's a lot easier then I had thought it would be. Granted going on holidays is harder and more expensive because I have to worry about boarding so many large dogs but the joy they bring me is worth every penny.

You'd have trouble keeping my Samoyeds out of your lap sitting on the floor in front of them like that.

I've recently gone back to PP after trying a bunch of other products I just wasn't happy with.

If someone baited my dogs and then bragged to me about it you can be sure I would have done more then slapped them. What a horrible thing to happen to you

outside? :) I presume the spitz is being taught to go outside? a little dog toilet, made using fake turf ..so that texture will be a part trigger for when she's out on grass ..rather than maybe a magazine on a couch, or newspaper on a carpet :p Toilet training is a full time job ..tiny little bladders, and no chance of 'holding on' for months ... They both look cute - thanks for the photos . How old is the spitz boy? He looks tall for a puppy ... I was about to ask the same thing. Are you sure he's a pure JS? He looks normal for a JS puppy at that age, they go all leggy. Plus depending on the lines he comes from will dictate how big he will be. If his parents are from the older stock he might be larger than 37cm. Pictures are decieving when it comes to their size. The only reason I asked is from previous posts I got the impression the dog was younger and he's from a BYB and we all know how these things go sometimes. I am very aware of how leggy and strange some puppies look at this age.

I agree. I'e seen similar reactions from my dogs.

This is very true. I've unfortunately had a lot more experience with obstructions then I'd like. My eldest boy (RIP) liked to eat things that didn't show up on xray. We learnt the signs of an obstruction very quickly and took him in right away for surgery. He had three surgeries for obstructions in his life. I really hope your boy is ok.

Thought I would share one of my favourite backlit shots, it's not very recent but haven't had much chance to get out with the camera lately. Lestat

It's not like they would be giving the cutlery to someone else without washing it. Where do you think some people's mouths go? Or what about people who don't wash their hands after using the bathroom, how is that any different?

10 Month Old Gsd With Severe Hip Dysplasia
Bjelkier replied to bianca.a's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
My Lab has severe HD and was finding it very difficult to walk at 6 months. I didn't like the idea of surgery on such a young dog and went the route of crate rest, pain relife, keeping him very lean and fit with low impact exercise like swimming (best thing we ever did for him). He's 10 now and is only now starting to slow down and finding it more difficult to walk around. -
Another vote for Hamish at West Queanbeyan but I think they are only open til 12 on Saturdays

I agree Persephone, we can do without the presenter. I have to say I don't agree with the 'research' as such. My puppies are raised listening to heavy metal and they like it. I can say which songs my dogs like most, they all have varied taste. Put on pop and they bark or get worked up. Classical seems to have no effect at all. Actually Daenerys was the most disturbed by Pop as a baby and still gets a bit grumpy when we play it or techno  I do love this singing Samoyed named Sisu.

What Should Happen To Dogs Brought Into The World By Byb?
Bjelkier replied to skully's topic in General Dog Discussion
I don't agree at all. I had a puppy die from a genetic condition at the age of 10 weeks. It was one of the most heart breaking experiences I've EVER had and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. -
Dried duck jerky is the favourite, cheese, sausage, bacon bits, cabanossi.

Granted, the OP was just driving past. There could have been anything in the cup. The OP said coffee in their post and they didnt also seem concerned that it COULD be coffee but instead that theres dog spit on th spoon. Regardless of what it was, the OP wasnt concerned that it could be coffee, and I was commenting as to thats what I would be worried about. It's her dog,and she can feed him/her whatever she wants. It's also not so much about dog spit either, although hygiene should play a part. The point is that as I said before, there are many non dog people out there and they would cringe at seeing what she was doing. It's hard enough trying to exercise dogs legally, off leash, (I know, many of you don't like this idea either) without having to have some nitwit add more fuel to the fire to the anti dog people. But why should dog owners have to change how they interact with their dogs just because it might upset someone else? No one's being hurt, the dogs not attacking or roaming or being a nuisance. I fail to see the issue If I had seen that it would have made me smile, the bond between owner and dog is lovely and I would have remembered the place, which is clearly dog friendly, to take my own dogs later.

I have two 4 month olds here and they do a similar thing. This is what I do with mine: Wake up anywhere between 4 and 5.30am for their first toilet and breakfast. There is no playing or fun, it's very routine so they don't think it's play time. They'll sleep in until 6.30 or sometimes I get really lucky and it's 7 and it insane play time outside and another long nap at 9.30ish. I havn't slept in since the litter was born so I've given up on sleep  I did find that they are easier to settle if they are sleeping apart. Daenerys is a bit of a trouble maker and likes to get her brother Beowulf revved up but if they are apart they will either play quietly with the toys I've put in the crates or sleep.
