Flyball At St.ives This Sunday
smoothcollie replied to weekendwarrior's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Where are you located, probably best to take him along to a flyball training session to get him assessed for Flyball. He will have to like jumping and is desirable that he have some ball drive i.e. picking up a static ball, not thrown. Regards, JB Im located at Fairfield sydney's west, and we have a club called deerbush dog training club behind fairfield showground. -

Over Excited Around Other Dogs
smoothcollie replied to laeral's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
What I find is when they have had all their booster shots and go to dog training they are still pups and dont take notice of the other pups as much and are easier to train and when they grow other dogs arent something to get excited about, but the longer the owner waits and the dog grows up the less easier it is to control a young dogs excitement around other dogs. -
To Clicker Or Not To Clicker?

I have never used a clicker, I would like to one day for my dog and maybe a second one to train the pigeons to come into their loft for feeding time . -
