at PooMother - you must be nearly due for a name change :D Looking forward to winning the ticket.

Think Eagle Pack Holistic also have a fish version, which would be OK for him. (You might get more answers to a suitable dry food in the dally thread itself.)

Ah - does that mean you'll sell out to the highest bidder so Troy will win again. He is mega rich, you know. Has his own private plane, which of course doubles as a cone of silence.

Another vote for Snooza, the ones that I have had seen to last and last and were easy to wash

good question - what does everyone else think?

I think this is a great idea - the patching up the fence bit.

Wonder what Blackie's regular vet had to say. Or can a "severe heart murmur" develop overnight?

What word (or words) do you use as a toilet command for your dogs?

My breeder recommended ProPlan, and one of the reasons was the same as Dotty_17301 - the ProPlan Performance is suitable for all ages. Now my puppy is older we use ProPlan Large Breed.

Hey Scouty did your friend try this? What were the results? Does anyone know what the same day procedure costs?

what is the difference between a furminator and a coat king?

We have three, as Juice said and I don't find them too bad in the sticking hair stakes. But then we do have GSDs so I'm used to finding hair everywhere. Mine are the medium ones and they are in the bottom of their crates. After washing I leave the zip open a bit to let them flatten out but never had any trouble with any of the dogs (mine or fosters) not liking them. As Juice says, they have survived not only Hunter, the most destructive GSD on the planet, but also several rescue boofas. ETA mine are the original ones. MY newest one is different fabric but that one hasn't really been used yet so I can't say if it makes any difference yet.

Now, was that the idea of scones and blue cheese together that got you going? Or would either of them have the same effect? Scones are also nice with lime marmalade and cheese. Or - what about pumpkin scones?

Doesn't a double negative make a positive? If we were posting illegal content in an illegal thread - and playing nicely to boot - shouldn't that be allowed on a Friday night? ETA up to 22 users now

So is all the snacking over? Was waiting for the jug to boil, I'm sure someone said tea.

We have used Greg from Barkshire Dog & Cat Boarding Kennels (48 Sirius Pl Berkshire Park NSW 2765 - (02) 4572 5598) He has always been great for us. At one stage we had a rescue dog who could be a bit funny with some people. Greg never had any issues with Robbie and Robbie always seemed to behave for him.

Buying An Ecollar To Give Consistent Corrections
kamuzz replied to kamuzz's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
did you mean to or accidentally? Your dogs should not be walking in front of you at all so you have plenty of time to issue corrections. Maybe I should start another thread on where should your dog walk. Steve (K9 Force) takes the position that it doesn't matter where your dog walks, you are the alpha and that's that. Mine walk in front of me. I wouldn't mind if I could get them to walk on a loose leash, but right now that is not happing. And I find "popping" the lead has no effect when the dog is leaning into the collar. When I put the collars on, I do have them right under their ears so the collars should be sitting in the right place. Well [long-suffering] Steve has tried his best to show me how to use a prong. And I find the timing really hard to get. Its fine if I use the 180 turn and walk the other way trick. But generally, I find that I don't get any response when I pop the lead. -
We have three GSDs, and my goal is to be able to take all three out together for a walk and still enjoy this. My oldest boy is the softest. He walks fine on a martingale, and usually lags behind me, sniffing. Hunter, who is 10 months but physically the biggest, has the worst lead manners. The other two I have successfully trained to get to the end of the lead and lean on their prong collars. (In horse terms, I have successfully taught them to lean on the bit ) Lately I have been walking them one out, and I'm finding it very hard to issue a correction. By the time I've worked out that I should be issuing a correction, the dog is already at the end of the lead. Then I can't issue a correction - there is no slack left to "pop" the lead. And when 30+ kgs of dog is leaning on the collar, they simply don't feel it. This comment caught my eye, because I have been thinking about an ecollar: But are ecollars really idiot-owner proof? EFS

This pattern says it is free: http://moonarts.com/blog/free_patterns/pag...eater-print.htm In the instructions it says: - Using US 15 needles, cast on 26 sts. - work k2, p2 rib for 4 rows - change to US 19 needles, work stockinette for 4 rows work increases as follows: - Row 1: k2, k into front and back of next st, k to 4 sts from end, k into front and back of next st, k3 That third line is a little confusing. Would you knit stocking stitch for 4 rows and then increase?

Somehow I have managed to lose my knitting pattern book - the Patons one with a dog on the beach modelling a dinosaur jumper. How do I get another one? Can Spotlight order in pattern books?
