I first came to DOL with Anna (RIP) about 2 years old and Cooper (RIP) was just about to turn 1 I think......many many moons and another account ago. Then Toby (RIP) the Rotti moved in for 6months. A few years later we rescued Lilly through DOL with the help of a member. Lilly was for my BiL who was living with us, she still comes around for play days. Now days Im on DOL for advice with my new baby, Marshall (12 weeks old)

OMG Casowner thats adorable!

Oh it's hard Kings. My pup was from Tas (I'm in SA) so no chance of meeting him, my breeder did regular photos and videos to get me through. First time I met him was at the airport on pick up.

Ahhh lol, he's training well. I'd love to take him out but won't risk it when they had Parvo in town a few months ago.

Hes a back chatter and the chewing hasnt slowed down just listens a bit better so stops sooner lol

Marshalls paperwork came yesterday. Just have to transfer the chip into my name next week ???? He is registered as Marshalls Plan ????

It really is stressful, once I'd established contact with the breeder I was confident in asking questions and maintaining contact (via Facebook)

My breeder allowed dogs to go home at 8 weeks. We waited until 9 weeks as it worked in better with our schedule (had to travel to the city to get him).

Omg thats cuteness overload!! ????
-
Currently we are just letting him cry it out, I'm also extending the time I'm away from home (less heartbreaking for me). He's toileted, fed, got his crate and an open area for him so it's just self calming like a baby has too. When he's outside and distracted I leave him there until he gets upset, about 5 mins now. Was 2 seconds the first day lol. Photos I can do ????

Marshall is amazing to train, so willing to please. Biting is less but obsessed with shoes. Even those being worn lol. Struggling with being separated, really working on it but he's not happy with it lol
