    Asher. Bella Im so sorry.
  2. So there is nothing I can do to start this trick? Sitting something on his nose etc. Of course hes getting basic obed aswell.
  3. Im sorry I have no advice but I wanted to say what a wonderful photo you have taken.
  4. My brothers dog is 8 weeks old. I want to be able to teach him to balance something on his nose. I dont really know where to start with him. Any suggestions? What would be the best thing for him to balance? Hes a rotti.
  5. Ok since the thread is about collars Ill ask here. I have a yapper and a barker (basically the two different sorts of barks). Kelpie x loves to bark at anything on his street (covering a large area) but will bark through a citronella collar. BC x will yap at various things, electrical noises (drills, vaccumes etc), flies, while playing and anything above her (planes, birds etc) but will also bark through a citronella collar. She has had an e-collar (or what I believe to be one) on her before and it does pull her to a stop. Being in SA its a bit of an issue getting one. Can I purchase it out of town and get it sent here? OR is there anything else I can do? I have made some modifications to my yard so there is less barking but its still an issue.
  6. Your sauce sounds much nicer than mine yum...... Noodle is such a cute pup.

    Poo Everywhere

    My Bitch does it too.
  8. K9, could you please explain what a cold spray collar is? I havent heard of those.
  9. Ive never heard of Urine Off Ill have to go looking for it. I have an incontinent bitch (Occasionally).
  10. I make all my own spag sauces and I make sure there is no onion in it so the dogs can eat the leftover....I do use a lot of garlic though, I didnt realise it was bad for them.
  11. Thanks Jed Ill look up the book. My guys will eat anything (including what they arent meant to) so it shouldnt be to much of an issue convincing them what I feed is good lol. ETA: Ill source both books I think. Im in adelaide soon so Ill have the opportunity to go to a large chain books store.
  12. My two are fast and dont chew much which is why we feed inside so they can be supervised. Toby doesnt live with me so I will have to get my brother to keep an eye on him.
  13. Harminee they are lovely. Im at work so only looking at them Ill have a read and a cry tonight
  14. Any sort of bones he shouldnt have? Other than the big hard ones.
  15. Ive thought of another question lol. What age can I feed this sort of mix too? Toby is 7 weeks old (or about 9 by the time I get this sort of thing sorted out). Can he eat it? I want to try him on it (brother will feed him whatever I give him).
  16. Thanks Tess. Ill ask at Lenards next time Im there.
  17. I loved watching my guys eat the chickens it was a challenge (sadly cant afford them all the time). I agree with you about working their brains while eating.
  18. Thanks Tess. Ill look into it some more but as of next shopping Ill make up a mix (Ill probably post more about veggies before then). I dont want to give them anything they shouldnt have. Dogs cant have cabbage can they?
  19. Hubbys just asked why I want to change it. Am I right in explaining it as eating a loaf of bread a day (dry) as fills you up and no nutritional value and having a piece of steak for tea with nothing else (2 pieces of chicken)? Sounds pretty boring now you think of it.
  20. I didnt even think of asian greens, thanks.
  21. Obviously Potato, peppers etc and onion is there anything else that cant be given? I could feed one inside and one out but generally they both get fed inside.
  22. I have a food processor so thats ok. I use to give them the pumpkin skin off and raw (is there a difference to cooked?). They are currently on Supercoat lite and mature so I dont think taking them off it will hurt. I know I can get liver, heart, kidneys and sometimes brains from the supermarket. If I ask the butchers I might be able to get the other stuff too. I know I cant get duck in town and havent heard of anywhere having goat. I can get roo, beef, chicken, lamb.
  23. Ive given them both a whole chicken before and didnt have an issue but when I feed the leg bones (whatever they are called) there seems to be a tenancy to want both to themselves and my bitch just given in (being lowest in the pack).Necks and the like they have had before so I know there are no issues with them. What veggies do you feed?
  24. What sort of supplements should I be looking at? I wouldnt know where to start. I can try the mix and see how they go. Do most people set a day aside and make all this up to freeze?
