  3. The Thundershirt does seem to have have a calming effect. Or maybe it just makes it too hard for him to move around so he lies down! I've also bought Dap to run in the lounge (http://www.dap-pheromone.com/)

  6. A quick update...(not necessarily related to his resource guarding). The behaviourist suggested trying a tight fitting garment to help with his arousal issues (he's not the calmest dog in the world). His Thundercoat arrived today.

  14. It's called diopter adjustment and on the D60 it's on the right hand side of the viewfinder eyepiece housing: "The D60's dioptric correction adjustment (for eyeglass wearers) has a range from -1.7 to +0.5 diopter. Some of us had a hard time reaching the dioptric adjustment, a slider on the right side of the viewfinder eyepiece housing. Those of us with fingernails on our thumbs found that they worked quite well as dioptric actuators though. :-) The viewfinder has an eyepoint height of 18mm at -1 diopter. This is enough that most eyeglass wearers should be able to see the full viewfinder area without having to mash their glasses against the viewfinder bezel. The D60's viewfinder is a pentamirror design, rather than the more costly, but brighter pentaprism." http://www.imaging-r...0VIEWFINDER.HTM If contact lenses are an option - they will make a huge difference.
  15. I don't knOw about this case, but it is pretty standard to recommend a blood test for sudden behavior changes. I know that erny recommended I get one for my girl when she started to lash out In certain situations (when she didnt before). Once thyroid issues were ruled out we knew the issue was 100% behavioural Pretty much same here. Blood tests and a general vet check to rule out any health issue that may be contributing to aggression. We discussed a whole range of behavioural stuff as well.
  16. That's funny because I actually photoshopped one on, just to see what it would look like.
  17. I met with Robert Holmes yesterday. Prior to our meeting he asked for an email outlining as much information as I could give him about Barkly's issues and his background. We spent around 90 minutes discussing Barkly (and Emma's dog Scooter) and coming up with strategies. He's recommended some blood tests to check for any health problems and will be providing me with a written report on what we discussed. I'll update when I get the report.
  18. Consultation booked with Robert Holmes on Monday. I'll let everyone know how it goes.
  19. I think I'm going to make an appointment with Robert Holmes. He's had a couple of recommendations here. http://www.animalbehaviour.com/
