  1. I'm in Sydney... the cattle cross pups came all the way from Tennant Creek in the NT! Not sure exactly where Miss Bindi's lot came from, but she's the last left in a litter of 7 - 2 white, 1 red, and the rest brindle... very pretty pups. I'll have to try to get photos of Bindi at some point, but for now just visualise a brindle Dingo... lol! Oh, and Gwena (coming later in the week) is from Tennant Creek too - found wandering on the highway at around 6 weeks of age, poor poppet! T.
  2. This is Rocky... there aren't too many photos of him, as he seems to think his butt is his best angle when the camera comes out... *sigh* The girls have been the most popular... mostly because they are girls... but 2 of the 4 boys have been snapped up now. Rocky and Rigby are the only 2 left without anything yet... Oh, and I've got another pup come join the fun here... her name is Bindi, and she's a Dingo cross... very pretty - looks like a Dingo, but a stunning brindle colour. ... and another pup named Gwena will be joining us later in the week... she's a camp dog... mostly tan and nondescript... *grin* She's quite shy, so we have a little bit of work to do with her before she'll be ready for a new home. T.
  3. Jude and Ely also have homes, but aren't leaving just yet... another week... Only Rigby and Rocky need more interest... poor Rocky hasn't had any enquiries at all, poor little man...and he's a really sweet boy! T.
  4. Yoko and Sgt Pepper have new families... yay! Desexing on Tuesday, then will be picked up from Wednesday... woohoo! T.
  5. Sadie and Maggie gone off tonew homes today... yay! Just waiting for Yoko's prospectives now... and a bit later Rigby and Sgt Pepper have a meet and greet too... T.
  6. Oh wow... very distinctive! Would you call it tricolour? T.
  7. So Bruce is a yard sheep, yes? Would be too tough for eating at his age... lol! T.
  8. How does Bruce go with the proper herding dogs, perse? Aww... Little Bitch is darling in her old girl rug... lol! T.
  9. Sadie and Maggie off to their new homes on Saturday... Still waiting for final word on Ely's family... Jude goes to his home on October 14th... Will get final say from my friend about Maxi tomorrow... still thinking... *sigh*... but it's a great home! Yoko still available, but not for long methinks. Rigby and Sgt Pepper having meet and greet with prospective new family on Saturday - pretty sure one of them will be going... That leaves poor Rocky with nothing as yet... awww! Might have to see if I can get more photos of his head rather than his bum... lol! He's bloody camera shy! T.
  10. Maybe his gums are sore after the dental? T.
  11. Such a gorgeous girl... and having a ball of a time! T.
  12. Welcome to the DOL family handsome Jeff! T.
  13. But you wouldn't have her any other way, right Kirislin? T.
  14. http://www.huffingtonpost.com.au/2016/08/18/these-pictures-remind-us-australian-wildlife-is-fierce-and-stunn/ Some really cool photos in there... T.
  15. Sadie is now taken... she will be desexed this week, then goes off to her new home... yay for Sadie! T.
  16. Sadie is having a meet and greet today... Have emails enquiring about Eleanor (Ely), and Rigby that I've been trying to call, but they aren't answering so far... Sargeant Pepper was starting to get beat up, so he has come inside now with the big dogs... settled well in his overnight crate at bed time, and didn't make a peep or a mess all night. First thing this morning I took him outside and he did his thing like a little pro! And he hasn't peed or pooped in the house yet... T.
  17. Puppies, yes... adults, no... unless it's very warm overnight. T.
  18. Always make sure mine are contained/restrained when strangers come... my lot can be a bit overzealous in looking for loving, and some people don't appreciate getting jumped on by large dogs... T.
  19. ...http://www.ava.com.au/node/5415...their earnings seem to be not so high, so loosing a substantial part of their income due to less vaccinations has an impact... The salary is commensurate with their knowledge and skillset... straight out of school/study, that's not the worst salary on the planet... Most good vets that I know have a steady stream of clients coming through the door for all manner of things... they aren't losing out due to some people not wanting to vaccinate every year... T.
  20. AND they'll take your cage and never return it! T.
  21. Still here, but are listed on PetRescue now and getting quite a few views... a couple have had enquiries already... Jude has a new home to go to, but she can't pick him up until mid-October... Maxi might have a home near me with a friend I have dinner with on Friday evenings... They are getting bigger and noisier by the day... lol! And my backyard looks like the surface of the moon in some spots... they like to dig... errr! T.
