  1. Wow!! Now that is certainly above and beyond service... Well done SASH! T.
  2. I have a pup here at the moment on Metronidazole and Amoxyclav after a dog attacked her... only a 10 day course, no side effects so far and only 3 more days to go. Pup is around 6-7 months old going by the teeth. Appetite and agility still really good... I'll keep an eye on her until the course is finished... as she really needs them to counter the closed wound infections she had in a couple of the bites... swelling is almost completely gone and not warm to the touch any more thank dog. Everything crossed that Mya recovers quickly and comes home soon! T.
  3. Molly is travelling in style now... and has her own porter for her toys... lol! T.
  4. Funny (and I used that term loosely) how most people I've spoken to about the issue are actually more outraged at the use of live animals for "training" purposes than the "wastage" of non-performing greyhounds in the industry... Love to know how he thinks he's going to be able to police the industry any better than in the past... because we all know that certain policing bodies are about as useful as tits on a bull when it comes to enforcement of current regulations they have been tasked to oversee to date... throwing a bit of money at them for a few more inspectors ain't gonna fix the fact that they don't actually follow through on any case they can't make media announcements about to garner more donations... T.
  5. Hang in there teekay... she's in the best place to find out what's going on and to come up with treatment options... T.
  6. Rigby has a new family! Desexing tomorrow, and he goes home on Friday... yay! Maxi has interest, and I'm doing a yard check this afternoon... should be fine as their last dog was a foxhound cross... lol! Once approved, Maxi will be desexed on Friday to go home on Saturday... that's the plan anyways... lol! Bindi is being desexed today, and her new family should be done with their gate fix by the weekend, so she'll go home then... yay! Still nothing on the horizon for Rocky... *sigh* T.
  7. Huge hugs for Nettles' young owner... T.
  8. Have someone coming to meet Rigby tomorrow... yay! T.
  9. Sadie, Maggie, Yoko, Ellie, Sgt Pepper all in their new forever homes and settling beautifully... Jude goes off to his home on Friday. Rigby, Rocky, and Maxi still available... Gwena (not from this litter) is settling here nicely and has had some playtime with Bindi, Trouble, and Pickles. We had lovely nanna naps together on the couch last night, and she finally followed me all the way out to the yard for potty this morning... yay! T.
  10. Bindi has a lovely family wanting to adopt her, and as soon as a couple of things are fixed with their yard, I'm thinking she'll be off to the best home ever! Experienced dog owners, one person at least home every day, a lovely young grandson to be best mates with (they've met, and got on like beautifully), and they live opposite Centennial Park! Perfect home! I actually asked if they'd like to adopt ME... lol! T.
  11. With all the info posted here so far, I'd be inclined to keep the dog... you could offer the possibility of occasional play dates at a park somewhere between you and them, and the old owner's daughters can see him every now and then until they are used to not having to clean up his poo and all the other non-glamorous tasks dog ownership requires... and lose interest... T.
  12. Could be worse... could have been cold dog vomit... lol! T.
  13. Very kind Tdieridx! Chachi says hello! Nawww.... he's such a sweetie, isn't he? T.
  14. Just a bit jealous... read lots! Lovely bit of glass actually... T.
  15. I always recommend Dogmad and Denise to anyone asking about adopting a nice little rescue dog... can't go wrong with either of these ladies IMHO T.
  16. You could build your own for that kind of money... T.
  17. You want as little fat in it as possible... and low salt... Make sure the chicken is skinned and all fat removed if feeding that... Keep trying with the vet prescribed food... she won't starve herself to death... she'll eat it eventually... T.
  18. I had pancreatitis once... and that was once too many for me thanks... I can't imagine how bad it would be for apet who can't tell us exactly where it hurts... T.
  19. There were 7 all up... 2 white, 1 yellow, and 4 brindle... the other brindles were much darker. If you look up Sydney Dingo Rescue on Facebook, you will find photos of most of them... T.
  20. Metronidazole is used to treat coccidia too... T.
  21. That face simply screams "smoosh me!"... T.
  22. Noice!!!! Me jealous! I have the 100-400mm L (Mk1) with the push/pull zoom... you wouldn't be disappointed with one of those either! T
