Bindi has a lovely family wanting to adopt her, and as soon as a couple of things are fixed with their yard, I'm thinking she'll be off to the best home ever! Experienced dog owners, one person at least home every day, a lovely young grandson to be best mates with (they've met, and got on like beautifully), and they live opposite Centennial Park! Perfect home! I actually asked if they'd like to adopt ME... lol! T.

Purchased Dog But Previous Owner Wants Back?
tdierikx replied to Remidog's topic in General Dog Discussion
With all the info posted here so far, I'd be inclined to keep the dog... you could offer the possibility of occasional play dates at a park somewhere between you and them, and the old owner's daughters can see him every now and then until they are used to not having to clean up his poo and all the other non-glamorous tasks dog ownership requires... and lose interest... Could be worse... could have been cold dog vomit... lol! T.

I always recommend Dogmad and Denise to anyone asking about adopting a nice little rescue dog... can't go wrong with either of these ladies IMHO T.

You could build your own for that kind of money... T.

You want as little fat in it as possible... and low salt... Make sure the chicken is skinned and all fat removed if feeding that... Keep trying with the vet prescribed food... she won't starve herself to death... she'll eat it eventually... T.

I had pancreatitis once... and that was once too many for me thanks... I can't imagine how bad it would be for apet who can't tell us exactly where it hurts... T.

There were 7 all up... 2 white, 1 yellow, and 4 brindle... the other brindles were much darker. If you look up Sydney Dingo Rescue on Facebook, you will find photos of most of them... T.

Anyone Know Any Good English Staffy Breeders In Nsw
tdierikx replied to V-TeC.yo's topic in General Dog Discussion
I'd steer clear of anyone breeding specifically for "blue" Staffords... they aren't rare... and they can have numerous health issues due to the genetics involved breeding blue to blue... If you are dead set on the colour, then look for a breeder that has one in a litter of other coloured pups... T. -
Keep salty stuff to a minimum too... ham and the like is a big no-no... and check salt content in any treats/food... T.

My fave photographer and friend takes amazing photos in Africa... she is now conducting tours too... She is also a director of the Tsavo Trust which works towards helping stop the poaching of elephants - and she has published an amazing book called Refections Of Elephants chock full of the most incredible elephant photos you'll ever see... as well as working as an elephant keeper at Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo. One very busy lady! http://www.bclowphotography.com/ http://www.melbournebooks.com.au/products/reflections-of-elephants T. -
Poor Molly... her instinctsays to move him on... and he's not having a baa of it... *giggle* T.

Yeah... Gwena is a bit shy and withdrawn with people, so is going to need a bit of work before she's ready for her own special family. The only reason she didn't come with Bindi is that Charlie couldn't catch her in the yard the other day... She isn't the first shy pup I've fostered, and my dogs are really good with the shy ones... and Pickles seemed to like her when she was here that one night... one camp dog to another methinks... lol!
