We can't really forget young Boston though, can we mimimax? He's certainly not as crazy as Max, but has personality plus in other ways... Check out his lifeguard skills... T.

Kibah is fit and healthy... if she should need surgery, there should be few complications, OK? Big hugs to you and Kibah... just because... T.

Get yourself a couple of the clips like leads have on them - clip the crate door with those for extra closing power. I had a foster once who worked out how to get the latches open, and the clips stopped him getting out unless I wanted him to. Roo only gets a bronze star for today's efforts, OK? *grin* T.

What an awesome offer! T. -
Lets face it minimax... young Max is a complete cuddle tart... lol! T.

How about this angle? Even her belly is cute IMHO... T.

What breed is your pup sashagirl? I'd agree with going ahead and doing one eye first and see how it goes - and maybe doing the other eye later down the track. Seeing with one eye well is better than not seeing at all or badly. T.

Just for you T :D Love it!! I'd pick her up in a flash! lol! T.

Who's the dag now? *giggle* Honestly though, there are some people one comes into contact with in rescue who inspire, and there are just as many who don't. Funnily enough one person's experiences with individual rescuers may be completely different to someone else's... life is weird like that, isn't it? T.

... and that's why I aspire to be like Powerlegs... she has it all going on as far as I'm concerned... as close to a perfect example of using both heart AND mind to find great homes for each and every one of her charges as you'll get I reckon. Dealing with people is often the hardest part of rescue... and we ALL need to be mindful that our daily stresses don't filter though to the adopting public in a negative way. T.

That's not personality - that's just ugly Them's fighting words DD... you really need to meet Max - she's totally pawesome!! T.

Just remember if you bring someone home, they will need to fit in around Roo's needs and not their own... lol! I'm loving all of the Roo pics - she is an adorable looking girl... completely smooch-worthy... T.

I'm so glad that you successfully appealed the DD order Tralee... and also send you hugs for the girl you lost. T.

If you are worried about them, see your vet, OK? At least then if it is something to be worried about, then you will have gotten to it early. Better to feel a fool at the vets but know it's nothing serious, than to be too blase and miss something that needs quick attention. T.

My Zeddy loves wearing a coat or jacket, but Pickles rips them off her and chews them up... *sigh* T.
-
This one sums her up well, right minimax? ... and unless people missed the pug zoomies pics in Cyclone Sammy's BBQ thread... Max is a girl who really knows how to have a great time... lol! T.
-
That's a bit harsh EdmundH - DD was having a bit of fun is all... if you'd met her dogs, you'd understand... *grin* I'd say that feeding dogs whenever you feel it's doing them good is when to feed them... like us, they are all different. T.

What did your Maremma allegedly do in order to attract the attention of the rangers Tralee? T.

The first pic looks like a skin tag to me, and the second looks like small moles (or freckles)... I wouldn't be overly concerned about either unless they get bigger and angrier looking in a short period of time. You shuld see the proliferation of skin tags, lumps, and bumps my oldest girl has... and all are normal age related things which are nothing to be concerned about - even if they look a bit ugly... *grin* T.

Some rescue people ARE harsh and unreasonable Powerlegs... but not all... *grin* You've rescued and rehomed a huge number of dogs over the years - and I'll bet that every single one of them had different needs, and you rehomed them based upon those needs, rather than a one size fits all approach to ALL prospective adopters via an application form. I'd also be willing to bet that you have also given feedback to every single application for one of your foster dogs... There are both ends of the spectrum happening in rescue (and pretty much everything in between as well) - there are those who make adoption extremely hard for the average Joe, and there are those who have a revolving door policy in order to "save" as many dogs as they can - neither of those extremes is optimal. I have met some people in rescue who really need to brush up on their people skills, and others (like yourself Powerlegs) who set the standard for great rescue, with awesome people skills as well as obvious "dog" skills. The latter group is what we should all aspire to in this game IMHO. Funnily enough, I feel lucky to have met you early in my rescue "life" Powerlegs - you are actually a role model that I aspire to be like as I continue my own rescue "journey". T.

Pity them mantis... T.

Well you could get some doggy related stickers and use those for Roo's progress instead... *grin* T.

That second last one is definitely one to be blown up and hung proudly on the wall methinks... gorgeous! They both look to be having a great old time. T.

Uh oh!! Are we seeing a convert to the "dark side" (read small dogs) here? He's gorgeous! T.
