Hahaha! It's the camera, honest! I have a fairly decent DSLR - just point it in the right direction and hit the button - the camera does the rest for me. It also helps to have such stunning subjects to point at... when they aren't climbing all over me... *grin* T. -

These kids haven't got names yet, and I'm going to have to get some different coloured collars to be able to tell them apart methinks... What a hard job I have fostering these 10 pups... all that puppy breath... *grin* T. -

OK - it was hard work getting puppies out and playing with them to get photos (not)... *grin* Here are Bonnie and Clyde, and with Harper... Clyde is the one with the big dark patch over his eye, Bonnie has slightly darker fur and her patch is above her eye. More coming... -
An old farmer's trick for all types of mange is sulfur powder... you can get it from your chemist. Mix the sulfur powder with some oil and rub it into the hairless spots. We used it on our farm house dog when he had mange as a pup, and we had the hair growing back within a week. It's worth a try, seeing as the expensive and chemically intrusive methods haven't worked very well. T.

OK - the heeler pups now have names... Red girl - Felony - she is so sweet that it's simply criminal... lol! Red boy - Ned - as in Ned Kelly, as he is a bit of a bushwhacker... runs up and launches himself at you for a pat. Blue stumpy tailed girl - Charm - well, she certainly has lots of that! As for the "we can climb out of our pen" Boxer cross babies - still no names, but I'm starting to lean towards anything that means "I can poo lots"! Seriously, they are really good at pooping... lol! We have 4 girls and 1 boy, and they are all really social little tackers - you should see the puppy claw marks on my legs! I'll see about getting some pics this afternoon of the 3 lots I have here - there will be much squealing when you see head shots of the Boxer cross babies, they have the cutest faces... T. -
Young Jack has a great eye for photography - he even managed to capture the special glow of love between you and Blacky... Run free and healthy with all of your friends at the Bridge sweet Blacky. T.

Run free Dallas... T.

A big +1 here! As noted in other posts - there is no way they are going to ONLY use this thing on farming properties... won't be long before they will be buzzing suburban yards as well... and god help us all then. T.
-
My dogs and foster pups tend to do the crazy thing at around 9pm - and they sync with daylight savings too - every night without fail... I swear they can read the clock! I let them do their crazy thing - it only lasts about 30 mins - then they are nice and tuckered out for bedtime later on. T.

Do you really think they will stop at only filming farms? T.

Would you care if you were being filmed without consent on your own property? I know I would... regardless if I were doing anything wrong or not. Then ask yourself, would you like Animal Lib filming YOU on YOUR property with YOUR animals - and making judgments about how YOU care for them? These are crazy people with an agenda... T.

A huge thanks to Wazzat Xolo for allowing me to get up close and personal with her 3 stunning babies... they have the most stunningly intelligent eyes, and they really are quite soft to touch. Simply gorgeous dogs! And my friend's Weimaraner boy "Mojo" didn't do all that well today, but his mum took out Reserve Challenge Bitch, and Runner Up Best of Breed... woohoo!!! Way to go Izzy!! T.

Is it possible to post a pic of their dad chezal58? The pups look really boxer-ish - I can't see any bully or mastiff in them at all... there isn't a boxer type dog living anywhere near is there? T. -
Google Earth takes still photos from a lot higher up than 10 meters, and Street View doesn't pry into back yards. I hope the farmers just shoot the thing to all shit and be done with it... T.

Same here... ... and Tank was definitely framed... *grin* T.

Which ones are you looking at ozsomerset? All of the pups have 2 weeks quarantine, then they will need to be desexed - so most of them would be ready from about 3 weeks from now at the earliest. The ages now are - as best we can tell... 2 ACD pups - 6 weeks - 1 boy, one girl 5 Boxer cross pups - 7 weeks - 4 girls, 1 boy 3 Heeler pups - 10 weeks - 2 girls, 1 boy 2 Pei cross pups - 4.5 months - 2 boys 1 GSD cross - possibly deaf - 12 weeks - girl 1 Kelpie cross (Whippet?) - 8 weeks - girl 1 Rotti(?) cross - 5 months - boy T. -

No more worms from anyone this morning... but quite a bit of post worming sloppies... ewww! And the boxer pups can climb... there were 2 out of the pen in the granny flat this morning. I'll rethink my strategies about their setup tomorrow methinks - for now I've put extra food, water, toys, and bedding outside their pen in case anyone escapes while I'm out today. Katdogs - if you want boxer puppy cuddles today, just undo the shoelace holding the back door open and shut Zeddy and Pickles inside before you go into the granny flat... oh - and make sure you put the sleeper back in place to block the puppy escape point under the gate - I found out they can get under it this morning... lol! Don't forget to let Pickles and Zeddy out when you have finished playing with the pups - they are the anti puppy burglary system... hehe! The 3 heeler pups are so sweet - the stumpy tailed blue girl is more shy than the 2 reds, but she comes up for a pat and will cuddle nicely. No fighting over food any more now either... yay! T. -
I'm going to cheer on my frind's Weimaraner "Mojo"... wish him luck today, OK? Oh - and I am definitely gonna look for the Xolo's for a pat too - if I'm allowed... *grin* T.

Even more cute than 6 week old puppy zoomies is a 30kg 7 month old Dane cross lying on her back and allowing two 6 week old fluffballs to have their way... *grin* Katdogs, if you decide to burgle, can you clean up the poopies in their playpen before putting them back? I'm sure they will have done some by the time you want to come over. Note to others - there are only 2 people on the planet who have the balls to try to come into my place when I'm not home... Katdogs is one of them... haha! All pups were wormed yesterday - not looking forward to cleaning up the boxer pups' granny flat pen this morning - I'd already cleaned up some "interesting" poopies before I went to bed last night... and I'm sure there will be plenty more of that waiting for me this morning... errr! I think I'll just have to burn the dropsheet. We knew they were wormy, and dosed them a little below their weights with Canex, which is a lot gentler on the gut than things like Drontal - and by the look of what was coming out last night, they'll be dosed again next Saturday to finish the job... Bonnie and Clyde only had 1 worm each in one poo each yesterday afternoon... nice healthy babies. I think the person who surrendered them has done a pretty good job of worming regularly and also socialising them in the home - they aren't fazed by things like the TV or radio, and are very people and dog friendly... oh... and they are lovely, confident little tackers. Oh well... it's finally daylight here... must go and clean up the other sets of pups and give them some playtime and cuddles and breakfast. Damn it's hard having to cuddle 10 pups every morning... *grin* T. -

Oh - and the 'mastiff' cross pups look a lot more boxer than mastiff - thanks Katdogs, boxer was the breed I was thinking of too - all ears and dome heads... and that divine mahogany bridle with the flashing on the chests and socks... According to pound notes their mum was a kelpie - but I'm not seeing a lot of that in them either. They are also the nicest tempered little tackers. The 3 heeler type cattle pups are a bit timid, but will come to you for a cuddle... I'll have them more confident in no time methinks. They were a bit feral with food, but I've already sorted that by making sure they have more food than they can eat in a sitting, and we now have much more placid eating habits... T.
