5 Rotties on the bed? My idea of complete heaven! Which ones like to share your pillow and snore in your ear? I miss that part of Rotti ownership the most... *grin* T.

I will hold your hand then. :) ... and when I do have my Allerzeit puppy and you want to visit - I'll be checking your bag and/or car when you leave to make sure you don't steal him/her... *grin* T.

I'm going to patiently wait for either Nova's next litter... or Miss Luna's first one... I WILL have an Allerzeit puppy to share my life with one day... T.

Once you've had 10 or more large breed puppies sharing your life for 9-10 weeks, it's really not that hard to see them off to the awesome homes you've lined up for them... trust me! *grin* T.

Bonnie Puppy is better value than Supercoat - and pretty much the same formula (except I think the Bonnie has some kangaroo in the mix) - I used to feed litters of rescue pups on Bonnie puppy wih no problems. However, if you can get it, I'd probably go for Royal Canin. Yet to find a pup who has turned their nose up at it... I used to feed poorly pups with Royal Canin Junior, and they thrived on it. T.

What if... instead of the blurb near the Donate button saying... "PetRescue is a not-for-profit organisation. We rely wholly on the kindness of pet lovers like you to help us save lives. Please donate today." ... we add one little word to it... "PetRescue is a not-for-profit organisation. We rely wholly on the kindness of pet lovers like you to help us help save lives. Please donate today." I understand that PetRescue does a whole lot more than just host a site where rescues can showcase their adoptables - but that IS what draws the public to the site, yes? And maybe they actually look at more of what you offer once they are there... or not... Wording is everything, and I find that a lot of the wording regarding who PetRescue are and what they do is a little ambiguous when read by someone not involved in the industry (read rescue) - it does look like the words have been carefully chosen to have that effect... blurring the lines between PetRescue being both a resource for rescue AND an entity that develops campaigns to raise awareness of the plight of so many homeless animals needing homes Australia-wide. Joe Public definitely reads much of what is there as PetRescue actually being the rehoming service for the animals on the site - not as a resource for the actual rescues that showcase their animals there. I've had a number of non-rescue-affiliated friends look over the site and tell me what they think it is about... and they have ALL thought that PetRescue IS the rescue group that is offering the animals up for adoption. Just saying... T.

I love both photos for their different aspects - but anything with Trouble in it gets my vote too. T.

In all fairness, PetRescue is providing a free space on the internet for all reputable rescues to advertise their animals. As well as that basic premise, they are paying for upkeep of the site, bandwidth to keep the site up and fast, advertising campaigns, etc, etc... If they have to ask for donations from the public in order to provide rescue with this FREE service, then where they place their Donate button is up to them, yes? I'm not sure that Joe Public fully reads or understands the wording describing who PetRescue are, or what they do, and could be mistaken in believing that their donations are going towards the actual animals/rescue groups who advertise there. In some places the wording is a little ambiguous - but then again, that's not my call either. T.

:laugh: I agree, although I must admit, Dolly is very cute. It was funny, I had quite alot of people come up to me on the day and ask "is this Neko?" One lady also told me she was walking her (very pretty, little seal) IG in a suburban park in Melb and a couple hurried up to her and asked if it was Neko. She said no, she wished it was. It seems my little girl is famous. Even if the judges dont like her, the public does. :laugh: Here's the lady's little IG who was mistaken for Neko. Her name if Filly. Rossmore Vet Clinic at Rossmore will work with rescue - not so far from Campbelltown area, and they are excellent vets. Talk to Ted or Robert about setting up an account. References from your current vet clinics indicating that you pay your bills on time, etc, will be a good idea. T.
